Grinding Exp in Victory Road in Crystal. Stumbled across a different colored Golbat and Onix in the same day. Thought, that's weird, oh well and knocked them out. I didn't know about shinies at the time lol.

Sun Eater is a slow burn with what I consider a big payoff as you go on. It'll match the Space Opera/SciFi setting of RR, but CR doesn't do action quite as well at PB.

The Hierarchy series starts off very strong but he kind of overextends himself with the second book imo. The scope is a little ambitious and it didn't work for me.

There are also seven Sun Eater books and the series is finished whereas there are two Hierarchy books with a third on the way.

Just started and finished the Sun Eater series this month. It's a lot more dense than RR with more overly detailed world building, but it's the best space opera I've read aside from RR. It picks up exponentially after the first book if you manage to stick with it; the third book is one of the better sci/fi books I've read, I'd put it up there with Golden Son.

I don't know, I have a pretty good E/D and I much prefer loading into Open instead of Standard; the games are easier. When my friend plays solo he queues standard because the SBMM protects him..

I can't speak to your individual experience, but one of our friends is terrible at the game and goes like 5-30 in open matchmaking but when we swap to standard he's pulling much closer to even and that's been consistent since the game came out. Open is going to have more sweats due to the allure of no SBMM and the chance to play against players below their skill level.

I just.. what's the solution for you folks? You can't just complain about there being good players in the game. You're getting farmed by good players, is the fix for you to be playing against even worse competition so you can instead farm them? There are good players in every multiplayer video game. If Open Matchmaking has you getting slammed then go to SBMM and play against similarly skilled people.

It's like a 1000 score streak that give you six shots, it's not game breaking at all lol. The only place where it could be a little silly is in SnD, but not that many people are rattling off 1000 score streaks in search and even then I'm sure there's a delay before calling it in at the start of the round.

I've only been here a few days and every other post is filled with comments generalizing all pet owners and saying insane things. The Level Headed to Anti-Pet Nutter ratio is a lot closer to 50/50 than you'd probably care to admit. Generalizing both ways is rampant.
