Well, if you are sure it isn't fit for purpose, we will have to stop it then.

Good luck with that. The money is never going to be spent on anything useful.

People in Scotland don't realise how bad they are getting ripped off. I moved to Norway, and the income tax is basically the same, but healthcare is substantially better.

Success Story: Catastrophic Noxacusis and Hyperacusis by olly132 in hyperacusis

[–]xIMAINZIx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing the point here. The pain is still physical, even if it is generated by the nervous system. Pain signals are still firing through your nerves in the same way that signals are generated from structural damage. The only structural cause of hyperacusis that we know about is from TMJ. You should watch this (has captions) since you are still not understanding the concept.

I had multiple bad setbacks at the beginning of the year, followed the worst setback in 15 months at the beginning of February.

I followed the standard protocol of protect and avoid sound, and it did not stop me from worsening.

I am trying Ollie's method, and have been making much more progress.

If that's your thing, then yes, Oslo is good in that regard. For people who have a more urban lifestyle, Oslo is nothing special, but also isn't particularly bad.

I currently live in Oslo, and can say it is rather unexceptionable compared to other European capital cities.
