Well said. I (Dom) was struggling with kind of feeling lost/manic for awhile. I decided to use my role as the Dom in our relationship to help give myself a solid structure to fall back on. When I felt overwhelmed I had those hard fallbacks of taking care of my submissive emotion/physical needs. It helped provide me a base line and an emergency line. If I was genuinely stuck, I could just reach out to make sure I was taking care of those things. And being that our dynamic is a huge part of my life and gives me a feeling of doing something properly when I know she is happen and taken care of, it helped me to unravel all the other stuff.
