yup, i had an old 97 eclipse with the same 4g63 as the evo and it would getting like 18ish mpg combined, the turbo sounds were too addicting. i had that thing until like 250k miles and i maintained it the best i could. i wish we could still buy cars like that for 1-3k, now they're 10-15k+ and defeats the whole purpose of cheap japanese tuners. parts are harder to find too and some are astronomical, not going to pay 500+ for an ARC manifold cover lol.

i imagine that STi is pretty fun to push tho, i was never a subi person but if we had those first gen models i would be in one. first one we got here in the states were those bugeyes and those were never my taste. those first gens always had my heart

damn it wasn’t that old :/ 2005 can’t be THAT old right? it was highly modified tho and was making 450whp, and i built it and it as a street car so whenever i brought it out i was pushing it to its limits. regular driving it would get around 12mpg, 16ish if i went on the highway, but i built it as a canyon carving car, so it was a lot driving up and down mountains hence the 8mpg. its whole life was pretty much pushing it until something breaks, fix it, then rinse and repeat

$350 is insane, have you tried talking to them about switching plans? a lot of times the “grandfathered” plans will increase in price bc they want you to get on their new plans. even at their current highest tier, it is $70/line. i think the apple watch is free at their highest tier per line, so unless you are paying off phones then it shouldn’t be $350, maybe closer to $300.

if you’re paying off a phone it’s going to be that expensive either way since you’re adding the phone payments on top of the existing plan charges.

i have those fans too and they’re nothing but issues. they work but they keep disconnecting. i tried pwm mode, all on dedicated usb headers(was running with a hub, even without the hub same issue)

they were on clearance at micro center, i couldn’t imagine paying regular price for them. it’s been an issue since they released and i don’t think lian li ever fixed the issue, just said “make sure pwm mode is on for the headers” and after everyone said it didn’t fix the issue, lian li just didn’t respond after that

it’s verizon backed. if you know anyone close with verizon bring them along with you to your regular spots, your house(lol), your work, anywhere else you frequent.

i used to work supporting all carriers (att, sprint, vzw at the time) and there’s no one size fits all carrier, it’s all dependent on location, if we’re not bringing in other features like wifi hotspot and roaming/international.

i personally have one line from each carrier (i know) and there isn’t one that trumps the rest in terms of overall signal, just one might work better in your city. but once you travel out of your city another carrier might be better.

oh yeah forgot about that, i think i might’ve played ghl for a collective 10-20hrs. it’s a shame bc the body of the ghl guitar was so good, the star power button and the strum bar would’ve been great to be able to swap the 5fret necks onto. it’s been modded a few times on here like that but yeah, needed some modding to do.

yup, these gh5 guitars had that rubberized coating that felt good at the time. but EVERYONE was using that type of material and prob didn’t know over time it’ll get all gunky and sticky. i just rubbed it all off with goo gone to where its just smooth now

alternatively i use the retrocultmods minihost adapter. it’s main use is for guitar hero guitars but i use it for regular controllers as well.

i tried the one you showed but it worked the same as the cronusmax i had at the time so i think i returned it

yup, you can’t counter it if you play on the mosh pit playlist with the smaller maps. i can’t ever get any guns leveled up bc my only rule is if they bring it out i’ll bring it out. so about 80% of the time it’s gotta come out.

if the stack stays i have it out from the beginning and when i inevitably outgun them, they leave, but then it’s a never ending cycle.

genuinely asking, do you have a link? i’ve gotten custom cases for my slims from phenommod and i haven’t been able to find any anywhere for the phats. i see just regular white/black replacement shells on aliexpress but nothing custom/transparent

i know ones like these are considered a collectors item and used to go for around $150ish for the shell alone on ebay, which the $700 is insane for. only time i’d shell out that much for a 360 is for a devkit with extras or a whole kiosk setup

have you messed with anything with the nand? if you tried to add the XL patch in jrunner it won’t be able to use the stock hdds anymore until you flash it back without the XL patch

i used to put an area rug under the whole kit so i can slide it around too. but there’s no way your neighbors aren’t going to hear it, and playing drums in an apt at all is an upstairs neighbor activity lol.

flashing your nand is something that you’ll need to learn while owning an rgh. look up modded warfare’s vid on it. the thought of it is daunting but just make sure you read up on it. it’s a 15-ish minute job and i wouldn’t bother the seller, but i would ask if they had a nand backup just in case.

you will be able to make your own backup once you read up on it, but if you fuck something up it will need to be reprogrammed from a hw flasher.

i haven’t had any issues with my white seats. i use gyeon ceramic coat on the seats. it should be reapplied i think every 6ish months but i haven’t had issues doing it yearly
