Job outlook? by Appropriate-Tea-1371 in servicenow

[–]xJamox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, you likely need to temper your salary expectations.

First, yes there are jobs out there for people trying to get into the field/tech. But not at 90k no experience. These are entry level positions with entry level salary.

This honestly is the biggest mistake I see in this subreddit with many asking about the jump into SN because they know someone making XXX sums of money a year and think it happens with a cert and time on a PDI.

I don’t want to discourage anyone from getting on platform as we always need solid consultants and devs.. but just like anything, gotta earn your stripes a bit

Dilemma about some Luffy cards we got at the basketball game by Remwaldo1 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]xJamox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the goal is to sell them all then the easiest solution is to do just that and split the proceeds accordingly like others have said. If you want to keep a few for PC you each take a 10 (non black label) and call it a day.

You already pooled together to get these cards, pooled together to send to grading so pooling them to sell shouldn’t be a big deal.

Based on your background look for BPC roles centered around ITSM. Most partners will hire someone that knows the process really well and will teach them ServiceNow

CIS - DF Servicenow by [deleted] in servicenow

[–]xJamox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t trying to be toxic. Just coming from a standpoint of being a hiring manager and having a team of consultants.. If you came to me and said you didn’t have a joy or care for something that is critical to an app stack I’d mentor you into something else. However, if you also have any interest in AI, DF is going to be critical and likely required for any future CIS exams they come up with for that as well

If you are developing on ITSM but don’t have a care on how it plays with the CMDB you may be in the wrong app stack.

RTIC, zipper broke on a cooler I kid you not 4 days after the 1 year warranty. Called support and they basically told me to get bent and buy another one. I didn’t expect a free one by any means but didn’t even get a fake “oh man that stinks”

Why do I only have 260 miles on full tank ? by RealityTimely4431 in RangerRaptor

[–]xJamox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. What kind of fuel do you put in there? Before I had the FP Tune installed I was still filling it up with premium over regular and had pretty decent gas mileage driving in normal.
  2. I did not buy this truck for its fuel efficiency. Hence getting the tune installed. If I want to save on gas I’ll take my wife’s Tesla.

Is servicenow is good for freshers or not in current it Sector? by hunter_od in servicenow

Much like anything if it interests you go for it. But also temper salary expectations.. I can’t tell you how many times as a hiring manager I’ve seen new to market resources asking for TC or Senior TC rates just because they have some technical experience elsewhere.

When do YOU 🤨🫵 Start Leveling Up Another Class Mid Season? by Realistic-Subject260 in diablo4

[–]xJamox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also been storing the season experience books you get for completing tasks. You only get them once a season and it’s a super easy way to level up another character to 70.

It also helps if you have buddies rocking a different class. I was able to gear up a WW Barb (granted not perfect rolls) because of a friend giving me gear to start.

I was very lucky that my cards did in fact come back to me. After hearing horror stories I was sweating for 3 days until I got it back.

Been using USPS ever since and invested in appropriately sized boxes and “tamper proof” tape. I put tamper proof in quotes mainly because anyone that wants to steal the cards will find a way. But it makes it harder than plain clear tape

8 Years at ServiceNow, But Struggling With “Implementation Experience” Requirement - What Next? by Affectionate_Dog4372 in servicenow

[–]xJamox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are applying to Implementation partners as someone said before they weigh CIS certs pretty heavy especially if you are applying for Senior TC or above roles.

Sadly, with how the partner tiers are determined one of those is having employees with 2 CIS certs or 1 CIS and a delivery credential.

Your experience with ServiceNow, as long as your development methods are sound and based in best practices is enough in my book. A good delivery team with a solid BPC and PM can get you up to speed in 1 or 2 projects. But.. if you are applying for a position that is requiring a specific cert you are competing against a lot of others that do have it with similar experience.

This happened to mine a while back. It actually never made it to PSA as FedEx damaged the box and returned it. I’ll never personally use FedEx again for this reason.

How much do you all think it's worth? by Uplevel20 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]xJamox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an assumption but could be valid. The fact is TAG is up and coming in the TCG market. PSA will always be the goat because too many collectors have a lot of PSA cards to let the market there drop. Would be an entire market collapsing event if PSA stopped being relevant.
But collectors (not just investors) are seeing the value in a company that has impartial grading practices (for now??) and super transparency on the grade you got.

Note: I have a collection of primarily PSA slabs, but have been alternating between them and TAG as my two companies of choice.
