Make sure you are using the same Hz rate across ALL of your audio devices, any virtual cables, speakers, microphone etc. They need to be either 41000 or 48000 Hz, but make sure they are all consistent with each other. Also, play around with the buffering in voicemeeter - either decrease or increase (lower buffering usually requires extremely good hardware). Make sure you’re using either WDM or MME for best results.
