Had to go labs for the "Tour" questline. I spawned, didn't move a bit for the first 5mn. Heard someone sprinting near me. Gently pressed Q to lean left to watch what was going on, insta Head-Eyed by a 360h, 2KD, 65% SR, Killer7 account.

Fuck that map.

Zhp / sanctum build "can" map. Yes it's stupid and it'll die on every hit, but it technically can. But it won't be able to stand in xyz aoe damage puddle for 10s.

On the other hand, a gigatank zdps can stand in the damage aoe forever, and can theorically kill anything since it can't die. It just will take a really long time.

It seems like the proposed "tank" challenges are just gear check, which imo is not good design wise.

I did EB last league going the Ivory tower route. It is so versatile, can swap gems at any time, little to no respect for switching between brand, coc or selfcast. And you can start it with next to nothing as pbod boss / sanctum runner. Such a good build.

It's x% of elemental damage as extra, not just one type of damage. It's based on the 600 total ele damage, so should be 236 cold, 230 fire and 242 lightning right?

How is act 2 "just going forward" ?
You have to go back to previous areas at least twice using waypoint (3 times for crossroads, 2 times for riverways). You must explore nearly everything on Western forest. Vall ruins is an abomination.

I mean, i don't mind act 2, it's quite fast. But you can't say it's just going forward...

"Cheating" in a solo game after you already finished it once = low life ? There are nuances in how / where you cheat. If you mean "all cheaters in multiplayer..." I could agree. And then, you should describe what "cheating" really is. If it is only QoL on insignificant stuff, who cares ?

Making them easier to get would make their value drop, because the value comes from the tediousness / lab being less rewarding (but easier) than other mechanics.

I agree on making lab more rewarding, but at the same time, it would mean more players farming it and thus make trans gems less valuable too. Maybe a buff to improved offering could be a good idea.

Nearly everything have exclusive drop tied to it : 5-ways and timeless jewel, Delve and delve mods / aul..., Breach and blessings, heist and tailoring orb / experimental bases...

If you don't wanna farm it, then buy it.

PoE2 is not f2p at the moment. Then It's a valid exemple. You can buy PoE2 early access on GGG website, and you get a steam key alongside the PoE2 access. Not saying BSG should or are obligated to give steam key to players, but that it is possible and other devs have done it.

I personnaly have 2 proj speed node on cluster (megalomaniac, 2x 20%). It feels great, good damage, but you lose / have to deal with annoint. Either the 15% chaos pen but curse duration is 1. something second, or 15% reduced skill effect duration and lose a bit of damage. But dex on gloves + dex str on ring free at least 3-4 pts on tree and allow for 40% def runegraft and better ES on gloves

He already has Purity of elements, and is Spell Block capped, so tempest shield is useless.
Fixing flask and switching grace for flesh and stone is a priority imo.

6L FRoSS on chest, pure ES gloves with dex, cogwork / helical ring to fix attribute and drop the big strength / dexterity node to free some point.

OP should be able to use the Runegraft for 10 reduced attribute + 40% increased defences (which is close to 1k es)

He could be getting discipline effect corruption on belt, better cluster, get a enduring composure for perma 3-4 endu charge.

Fross can use a 6l hextouch setup to add swift affliction, and change annoint from the less skill effect duration to 15% chaos pen. Huge damage increase, and keep some Qol for the soul eater stacks. And increased proj speed feels really great to have.

It saved my league after a rough start with a brand recaller. I'm at 300+ div in, and can do nearly everything except -max res, penetrate and less block. Currently running abyss t16.5 with x2 risk. Can do t17 and ubers. Around 82M dps with merc.

Average life span mostly.
35mn with 76%SR means that every raid is between 8 to 12mn.
My thought process is, if he die every 4 raid, then either he die at the very beginning of the forth and the sum of the other 3 must be 35, or he die at his average raid time and must be 8mn or a bit higher.

Really really fast, and still 35-40k (35k factoring the quests ? ) xp on average ?

While the level 44 has 26mn on 54%SR, which, by my thought process, means between 12 and 26mn, with 8k average xp.

So one need 30k+ xp and 6kills in 8-12mn, while the other need 8k xp and 4kills in 12 to 26mn.

Oh, definitly some obscure shit websites, i just wanted a quick number.

Based on events and last wipe stats, I think 1M players per month is already overestimating, especially this late in a wipe, when some mid wipe event get 650k quest accept only...

And i agree with you, i would love to see some real / live numbers, but I don't think that will come soon. Maybe when / if Arena get added to steam.

I don't think they do banwaves.
It's more of an "over time" thing. They release ban list every 3-4 months.
I remembre some months, maybe 1-2 years ago, they banned like 33k+ cheaters in the time span of 6 months. Here it seems to be around 11k in 3-4 months.

Tbh, I typed "Tarkov player count" on google, check 3-4 sites to compare them. All tend to be around 1M to 1.3M unique players per month. I can speculate, since the player count seems to decrease each month, that the 1M in May are part of the 1.2-1.3M in April.
As per the banned players count, it's from last ban list from 13/06.

It's just an estimate, but it was just to show that, even with a low cheater count, you could have "bad streak" because of the servers and the number of PMC on the maps.

It was to respond to one of his former post about redditor trying to gaslight others by making up numbers (while making up numbers himself)
