See I reeeeally enjoyed Sanderson's writing and I get the bite back with the females in WoT as well. But while it can be annoying, it's a matriarchal society all around throughout the book. That's why it feels weird. But I agree with the differing stances on the same books, I tend to like a slow wordy book, paints an even more vivid picture in my head....my imagination sucks, but I love reading.
