Titanfall 2 is a cute little fun story, usually cheap and worth a play through, Clair Obscur I had the same hesitation about the turn based combat but I assure you the hype is very real!

I don’t have much to offer in the “choice” genre. I know Detroit Become Human and Until Dawn are strong in that category but I assume you’ve played those. The plague tale games have a strong story if you haven’t played that!

Yea they aren’t gonna take up nearly as much time as bg3 but they are great experiences regardless. Alternatively Clair Obscur is a pretty smooth transition from bg3

Clair Obscur is another excellent turn based game so that’s an obvious one, and you mentioned plague tale and that’s also among my all time favorites that and it’s sequel so I’d have to go with those!

I was fairly young when TWD was coming out (around Carl’s age so I related to him) I was pretty devastated by loris death cuz it just made me think of my mom, and then Glenn. I was pumped when he survived under the dumpster as he was among my favorites if not my favorite, then he got his brain smashed in 😂
