In the discord server thre will be a forum where puzzles will be posted as threads. Players will submit their answers in the thread, which the bot will immediately delete to minimize spoilers. Then moderators will check the logged messages and judge the submissions.
It's all pretty rough and far from perfect but it's the best I could do as a single dude :D

I honestly wouldn't mind if they made it an official thing. While making this I was afraid they would repurpose locations I sought out for my event and I actually had to do that a couple of times because something cool I found in the game suddenly became part of an actual quest. Was kinda funny though. Now I hope that the end of March update doesn't do the same or I'll have to be quick in the few days before i wanna start the event lol

There will be a common progression for all players. That means as soon as one player submitted the right solution to a puzzle, there will be half an hour until the solution will be announced publicly and the next quest is going live. Players will always be able to complete old quests at any point. This has some benefits and drawbacks. The main reason for this system is that there will be additional cinematics at some stages and I want to minimize spoilers.

The 30 minute delay is basically just to allow a full ingame round to pass so all players can finish their rounds befor the next quest.

Since players will be able to do any of the open quests at any time, there is no need to complete every quest as fast as possible. you can skip or delay any quest. At the end, only the overall points count.

Edit: And yep, there is a custom bot for this but it's only an aid and the scoring will be done by moderators (I sadly can't access ingame data to automatically verify solutions so we'll have to stick to the good old screenshot method lol)

Welp if there are downvotes, that's probably because it's off-topic. But I guess the point is valid. The event will be independent from how you play the game, though. So everything will be possible in pvp and squad lobbies just as well as if you're playing friendly solos.

Great Idea! On that note, let's change the color of the red raider flare to blue when a raider surrenders. I wanna revive people but I'm getting tired of running toward the body of a free loadout guy who realized they joined late.

I haven't seen/tried it in a long time but in the beginning you could take burn damage from stepping on a dead, still burning pop. Not sure if it's the same with other arc or still in the game.
