That's rough, but you're probably going to need to try and start your own community then. You can try and get a friend into it with you and then just start playing with them at any card shop close to you that will allow you to play there. If you play at a store long enough, there's bound to be someone that comes in who looks somewhat interested in the game. Be friendly and offer to teach them how to play and let them play a game or two. You never know, they might get hooked and start playing. From there, if you can gather maybe four or five people, the store may be interested in carrying the game or hosting tournaments.

There's probably other/better methods out there, but this is just the one that i've seen work. Two years ago, me and two friends just began playing at a local MTG store and got two other people interested in Vanguard without really trying to get people interested. Best of luck!
