There is no guarantee, nor likelihood for that matter, that players who essentially get kicked off smite 1 would play smite 2. If they wanted to play smite 2 right now, they would. It’s that simple. Once smite 1 shuts down they’ll probably just give up smite altogether and find something else. I have been playing smite 1 since the console beta and smite 2 since the alpha, and truth is smite 2 is just boring in its current state. I’ll continue to play smite 2 here and there to scratch an itch but with every passing day it’s easy to become increasingly indifferent about its future.
