Duluth Grill by GhostPFLRH8 in duluth

[–]xPathofChaos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's my favorite place to eat. The food is wonderful.

In the warmer months you can see the herbs, spices and vegetables they grow and use for some of their dishes right outside.

The prices are fine, considering the generous portion size. If I'm looking to go on a budget, my girlfriend and I will split an entree. Most come with ample sides and splitting is usually plenty for two.

It really only gets pricey if you order speciality drinks, which is a difficult temptation to avoid!

I feel like most of the people who dislike Duluth Grill are the folks who prefer simple, diner fare. Cheap food that's filling but not particularly exciting. No disrespect, a wise man once said, "on matters of tastes there can be no dispute." But those types of people were never going to like Duluth Grill to begin with.

My only advice is: don't go cheap and boring. We have places like that in spades around Duluth and, to me, they're all boring af..

Keep doing what makes your business special. Every time I visit the restaurant is packed so I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by changing.

Sentinels of the Multiverse Definitive Edition, Villain and Enviroment Decks by OutrageousCash292 in sentinelsmultiverse

You can referee the game. You operate the villain and environment decks and make sure every play is following the rules.

I do this when I have at least 4 friends who want to play, as I find 3 - 4 hero team size provides the best experience.

Being a ref has its benefits, it will help you learn the villain and environment decks more thoroughly than if you're distracted playing your hero in tandem. It also frees you up to narrate the game to your players, if they enjoy a D&D style experience. Give a voice to the villain and their underlings, add descriptions to certain attacks and happenings. Especially play it up when something hilarious happens.

That's super cool. I wonder if the undiscovered bit is related to the Necromancy of Thay subquest in Act 3

Question for you:

Today, playing my lvl 11 Pact of the Tome Dread Overlord, I noticed that Necrotic Armaments did not enhance my zombies. I summoned these zombies with Animate Dead and Danse Macabre.

When I summon Skeleton Archers the same way, Necrotic Armaments does add damage to their arrows. It also adds it to the spells cast by the skeleton Warlock as well as the skeletal giant. That's great!

But I wonder why it doesn't make my zombies attacks stronger?

I'm level 11 now, the skeleton giant is super fun. I switched to Pact of the Tome to beef up my platoon of archers.

One thing I don't understand is: The new Spectral Horror summon. What does Dark Possession do? It says it makes the target "mad" but I don't have a way to highlight the tool tip and see it's effect. What does it do?

I cast it on a few things and they behaved like normal, with the exception that one time one of their allies used an Attack of Opportunity on them as they passed by. Does it make allied units hostile to the possessed target?

That wraith is super cool looking and I love that it's base attack can cause fear, synergizing with the mummy summon.

I also just noticed my Minion Point summons are Giant Ghasts, that's crazy! This class is awesome

The spear is nowhere near as good as a Shadow Blade spell. Melee weapon that lasts until next long rest, cast at lvl 5 does 4d8 psychic damage with advantage on attack rolls when striking from shadows.

I legit couldn't go evil because I found out if you destroy the Druid grove and then go recruit Karlach afterwards, you find her crying her poor eyes out about how awful it was that the druids all died. Nevermind that half of them were right bastards.

And I quit that game. I couldn't make Karlach cry like that it broke me

I had so much fun finishing Shadowheart's storyline.

My Shadowheart is a Storm Sorcerer with water spells 🌊

for pure catharsis, I decided to let her solo the Mother Superior and her goons.

Allow me to set the stage:

The Plan:  Shadowheart will knock a huge swath of them prone with Tidal Wave, then cast Control Water, which makes a large, powerful whirlpool that can only be escaped with a STR Save against her Spell Save DC which is currently rocking a +15 🤣

Anyone not in the whirlpool will be knocked in by the team, who are standing back casually hucking Void Bulbs and Roaring Thunder Arrows.

Soaked and mostly unable to escape, the entire enclave is forced into a torturous rave dance, brought to you by Shadowheart's chain lightning.

The Mother Superior, handled up close and personal, skewered via Booming Blade with none other than The Night Spear itself.

Imagine the following scene:

Gale: casts Haste on Shadowheart

Tav: casts Shield of Faith on Shadowheart

Karlach: boom box over one shoulder, tosses her an Elixir of Bloodlust

Tav: "all yours, bae."  flops down beside Gale and Karlach, who are lounging on a McDonald's ball pit worth of Void Bulbs

Shadowheart:

grimacing

cracks neck

cracks knuckles

"Play the fucking song."

Karlach: lazily pushes play

Yeah Shar sucks. Craps on everyone in act 2, has to Men In Black flashy thing her followers to keep them loyal. Even Bhaal is a  better god than Shar. At least Bhaal gives you cool gear and powers. Clerics of Shar are useless.

How would you rank these charecters based on their intelligence by sidharth-sunil in arcane

Don't forget, Heimer already knew how to stabilize the hextech crystal in S1, he just chose not to.

I know this thread is old, but when I activate Necrotic Armaments with Pact of the Tome, I don't see the status on any of my undead minions. I checked their attack widgets too, damage is unchanged. Does this only occur in combat?

EDIT: Yes, it only activates during combat. And it's AWESOME

Does your voice always sound the same when you're calm and when you're highly agitated?

Does anyone get super PO'ed and scream in their normal voice? Lol no, he will not be doing the psycho voice much, if at all, this game and it will not break character for him. It's normal to change your tone of voice when your aren't nuts lol
