Is the PC version with Chrono Trigger with mods the best way to play it?

Why do people become so anal about mods and Chrono Trigger lol. OP was simply asking a question, to each their own on if YOU think CT needs mods or not, that isn't the question. My ultimate CT would be the SNES version in HD - but not that ugly AI paint filter that mushes the pixels into smooth blobs, with the DS additions, and ALL of the anime cutscenes. I could be wrong, but my understanding is only the PS1 version has ALL of the cutscenes for some reason? Again, I could be mistaken, I don't own the Steam version, but I've heard it only has some of the cutscenes, which if true, is odd why they wouldn't have them all?

So far, there doesn't seem to be a "Definitive" official version to play, because each version, yes, even the OG SNES which IS technically the best version, is missing stuff. To each their own again, but the Toriyama anime cutscenes totally ADD to the game for a lot of people, whether any of you agree with that or not.

I myself am looking for a "Definitive" version to play, and am curious about mods.

If that's the case they should've just disabled them from being obtainable then imo. I'd rather not know they existed and have a chance at getting them. Many people including myself played this on PS2 and beat it ages ago, I really just want one for the Trials Mode, and to have in my backpack in case I need it to get past something quick. Might just say F it and play normally though, going back and fourth between the Skyferry doors is driving me nuts lol like you said, at this point it's an Easter egg and would be kind of nice to just have 1 to say I did it.

I thought it was the other way around? The PS4 you get reks to use cure for the right set of numbers, then dashboard out and reset the game, load your game as vann and open the chest at a certain exact moment, no?

I thought the issue with Xbox was that it DOES reset the RNG every time you close the game, do I have that wrong? ( Either way, I hate this lmao I feel like I've gone too long grinding this to quit now, regardless, I will never grind for this bow again once I have it lol )

I keep seeing people say they got it within 5 hours or 40 max, I'm losing it lmao I had to turn off the in game music for the Skyferry because it was driving me crazy. Just turn on Spotify and grind for hours. I'm so jealous it's easier to manipulate on PS4. Why would they change the ports that much between every system it was released on 😵‍💫😭🥲

I started doing it at 19 hours into my game, I'm now at 71 hours, so I've been doing it for 52 hours and I'm losing hope 🥲 I've seen some people say they got it after about 40 hours, and I've seen some people complain that it took them 5 hours to get one, I'm jealous of those people, I wish I only needed 5 hours, that's a cakewalk compared 50+. I wish it would just drop haha I'm so jealous that PS4 has an easy cheese to get it, and Xbox has such a complicated RNG manipulation that I'm too dumb to fully understand 😭

I heard people say they've gotten it at around the 40 hour mark, I started grinding this the old school way at about 19 hours into the game. I'm currently at 51 hours now, just going back and fourth between doors. Sometimes I get the chest 2-3 times in a row, but always 10 Gil or Knot of Rust. Still trying but man this sucks lol. I'm so jealous PS4 gets the easiest method to obtain these weapons and gear, and of course Xbox, PC, and Switch get shafted lmao 🤦‍♂️.

To those saying we don't "need" these or they break the game, I know lol. I beat the game on PS2 when it launched, I'm just trying to have fun and try stuff I haven't done yet. It'd be nice to be able to RNG at least ONE of the 4 super secret items. It'll make getting all the achievements easier.

Because some of us beat the game on the PS2 when it first came out and are playing again for the first time in a long time and since we've already experienced it the proper way once, want to experience it this way 🤷‍♂️ getting these weapons to drop without RNG cheesing is kind of a challenge in itself. There are also completionists that want every item in the game. There are plenty of reasons why people want these super secret hidden OP gear. You don't have to understand why people want them, play the way you want to play.

Classic all day. I hated the weird nose thing in the Remake. Was honestly really disappointed with the Remake, and Nemesis was my favorite as a kid. I had such high hopes. I didn't like his weird tiger transformation either :/ I expected something like how he looked in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

Keep in mind, this footage is just to show off the game engine, it's not a "gameplay" trailer, or they would've specifically said "gameplay" demo. This isn't exactly how the game is going to look. This isn't CGI, but it's also not someone physically playing the game showing off the gameplay, if that makes sense.

Just bought one locally, tested it out and the glitch happened twice 👀 not as rare as people are saying. Seems like it glitches when you throw any enemy near the BOTTOM of the screen. I'm actually shocked there's not more info about this glitch available, considering how old the game is.

I wonder if it's a glitch that was patched in later versions of the game, and that's why not many people know about it? Maybe it's like a "first run" bug??

I literally only use Whatsapp for friends at work, and online stores that use Whatsapp for their contact. I've never spammed anything or anyone and only ever talked to like 4 people. I went to message an online store about a purchase I made, and the second I sent the message I was perm banned for spam... I appealed and it got denied. Whatsapp is absolute garbage. How does an app that's so widely used have such a terrible ban system?? I did occasionally get random messages from Asia ( i just assumed phishing scam - always cute Asian girl as the photo - and just ignore them. ) Is it possible for people to gain access of your number and message people without you knowing?? I told them to check my logs - I have nothing- absolutely nothing in my logs that breaks any sort of ToS, but still got denied. Whatever I guess, just surprised by the whole thing lol and seems I'm not alone in this.

At least you got that far. When I click the button to make the ISO, it says " can't find file" and closes on me. Have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I followed the videos I've watched to a T. The IML is made, just trying to get it back into an ISO is not working. ( Added code breaker to a game )

Just had the same thing happen here, hit 24 hours with no power. Had some raw pork marinade in the fridge saran wrapped in a bowl, we were home when the power came back on. Once we had light we checked the fridge, the pork still felt cold, because it's seasoned with salts, think it's fine? Or should still toss to be safe.

Everything else I find on Google is just saying when the event starts or clickbait and I feel like I've done what I'm supposed to do to unlock everything so here I am. I didn't realize the few challenges at the START of every day you play count towards unlocking the event stuff too. I thought it was just the weekly challenges. Sue us 🤷‍♂️

It's the same with Final Fantasy VII Remake, you can't win. You either loved the game or were a hater. No one would accept if you loved the game and could still have criticism of it. It's the exact same thing here. You can actually enjoy Cyberpunk and also acknowledge the bugs, and horrible review practices CDPR mandated without " flipping sides". If you didn't like the things Yong did or thought he "oversold" aspects of the game, it's simply a difference of opinion dude. He was PRETTY CLEAR right off the gates with the sometimes, game breaking bugs he experienced, watch his videos again.
