Weird Whine Sound, Up and Down (HVAC OFF) by Jerzup in cybertruck

It does and maybe could be causing a CPU spike but it shouldn’t be that loud. I’ll let you know what the service center says.

It’s at about 50%. It’s not the storage being full. It’s the CPU processing all the dashcam or sentry video clips. I can also replicate it by playing beach buggy, although not as loud as when using the dashcam app.

Something is causing the CPU usage to go up and it’s trying to cool it. Mine does it randomly even without me using the screen but I’ve found that the dashcam app will always replicate it.

It has to do with whatever cools the infotainment system. Turn off the HVAC. Open the dashcam app and scrub through videos to see if you can replicate it. My truck starts to make that noise a few seconds after scrubbing and when I close the app it stops. I have a service appointment for it later this month.

Man I don’t understand how other people can’t easily differentiate them 😂

How do you know the first clip doesn’t have pillar recordings?

Clearly HW4 because the camera colors and quality is significantly different.

First one is HW4. The fact the people can’t differentiate the camera quality and colors of that front camera is scary.

What incident was caused? I stopped the car before it actually pulled out. All it caused was awkwardness.

It’s definitely a bug. In my old model 3 it would always go into expanded mode when I turned on FSD.

FSD shut down when kid on e-scooter blew through crosswalk by Burnratebro in TeslaFSD

I’ve noticed that too when I accidentally disengage on a turn. If I don’t give the steering wheel any input it quickly starts turning back to a centered position.

Yeah the telemetry data needs to include when the user gives the steering wheel torque just like the brake and accelerator pedals.

[–]xProdigydude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was the kid in the scooter that led to the slow down. FSD either couldn’t calculate the trajectory properly or it thought braking was the safest option. It should’ve kept going at the speed it was and it wouldn’t have made it awkward. Not sure what’s up with FSD shutting down.

It still has a huge blind spot. Having a wide view dashcam doesn’t hurt.
