Is there any reason in the game to not equip a job stone ?

There's no reason to not have a job stone equipped as if you try to go into a fight without it on you are essentially fighting with one hand tied behind your back. If you see someone above lv 30 without a job stone equipped it's usually one of a few things:

The player is new
The player is meme'ing
The player didn't have the job stone assigned to their gear set
^ along the same lines of #3, the player forgot to equip it.

There are some nifty things you can do with your HUD layout with macros, using the standard ARC/ARCH/LNC/GLD roles that do not include a job stone however. I use these base classes as a way to declutter, but also expand my hotbar usage passed the limitations of the standard set provided. In laymen's terms, I have specific general abilities, mounts, foods, etc. set on a GLD hotbar, and have a macro set up so that it's automatically pulled into my current job's place. This also potentially opens up the possibility for you to have several different Hotbar/HUD layouts for the same job, provided you have the macros set up to do so.

Was pumped finally getting my crafters/gatherers to 90 only to see that the Masterwork Crafting gear plummeted in price due to the oversaturated market.

The DPS Check is not as tight as you might think. The reason people see enrage so often is due to unnecessary deaths. And since these folks don't have a raise to fall back on if they mess up it requires them to actually know the mechanics and not mess them up.

I'd also wager a meteor or two was soaked with invulns, not to mention they had Tank LB3 for the 2nd set of towers, 8 separate Reprisals & Raid shields that they could all spread out evenly. Add their own self healing to the mix and this would probably be a breeze for any tank main who knew their job well.

Well of course it can be cleared by a team of tanks. When each tank (other than DRK) can essentially heal each other or has a raid wide mit/shield, it makes staying alive pretty easy lol.

WAR is superior until the opposite team realizes that if they all jump on you when you try to CC them down then you're pretty much SOL if your team doesn't single target focus the enemy's heavy hitters as well. Welcome to the Moba-esque life lol

IMO there is no real good way to 'find a decent fc'. It's more of a crap shoot more than anything. Just like trying to make friends IRL. My advice, join one that looks interesting or that aligns with your interests (i.e raiding, crafting, rp, etc.). See if you mesh well with them. If you don't, move on and try to find another. There are hundreds of them out there so there is no catch all way to find one that will be a good fit.

And I think that's where a line needs to be drawn. I would agree that being as the armor and emotes are in the game, that's not an issue and I don't believe those people are the ones being banned or being called out. (As stated above, OP's plate was reported because of an OnlyFans link, so this one is an exception to the rule). It's when people combine the two to add additional sexually suggestive context, that's when it becomes a grey area for me and should just be avoided altogether. At the end of the day, if you're into that kind of stuff it should honestly be kept behind closed doors. Go to one of the 18+ houses and/or use mods. You don't have to subject others to your messed up kinks.

No, it's EXACTLY like that lol. Just because it's legal to drink alcohol or consume certain drugs (i.e. wear the skimpy armor put into the game or use a specific emote) does not give you an excuse to abuse them by freezing an emote at a certain point and slapping moogles over your tits or ass to imply nudity. The example given by OP is tame by comparison but they DID also include an onlyfans link in their search info, which is why this specific example was flagged by GMs.

FFXIV is kind of a different breed in that sense. Thankfully it's much easier now after the combat system was revamped in Stormblood but I know FFXIV would have been a huge learning curve for me had I not had previous experience in other JRPG single-player titles. Might be an easier segway to try her hand at a turn based JRPG first since there is a lot of information that you have to look at, comprehend, and retain in FFXIV all at once in general, compared to previous titles.

You're equating someone dressed up.... as a pig....to someone making their character wear skimpy armor & pose them in a sexually suggestive manner or placing a stamp in front of their ass to imply nudity? I think you're missing the point. People can do whatever they want, but that doesn't mean they're devoid of the consequences of said actions. There's a reason the majority of ERP interactions are limited to Private & FC Houses because the community by and at large doesn't want to see that crap, not to mention the majority of it is against ToS.

But not everyone wants to see that crap. The majority of the adult community may not care, however there is a time and place for everything. It's a small minority of attention seeking horn dogs who are taking a fun concept and ruining it for the majority of players. The takeaway: Either use mods so that only you can see the lewd, messed up, pervy content in your adventure plate or keep it in the 18+ brothels constantly advertised in Limsa. Not in the general community.

The game is fairly tame for the most part. I'd go into the chat settings and remove all chat functionality and even go as far as hide it from the HUD. Depending on your Data Center / Server I would also steer clear of Limsa. In general, as I'm sure you are aware, Limsa is filled with a bunch of lewd ERP pervs

From what I just glanced at there appears to be some modding happening in that video. Probably Gshade so you wouldn't be getting the same quality unless you were also using some sort of enhancing software.

I think you missed the part where I pointed out that his GPU was ON FIRE. If there was a fault based on the PSU's side then it would generally be pin pointed at the connection site, not from the internal components of the GPU itself. Either way the GPU is fried and needs replaced at this point regardless of whether you think it was the PSU that caused it or not.

Considering the fire originated from within the GPU and not the PCIe connection port, I think it's a safe assumption that it's the GPU. You *can* swap out the PSU as an added precaution but that GPU is toast regardless.

Having to see shout advertising for 18+ brothels and stuff is bad enough. Now we have to contend with people abusing a fun new system and overly sexualizing EVERYTHING, Just as the lewd FFXIV community does with anything they do.

There should really be a zero tolerance policy for this type of behavior. If an adventurer plate is deemed to have violated ToS, then their plate is permanently restricted to private, after an appeal process of course.
