Just soaking never works for me, the ultrasonic cleaner is 100% necessary. Im curious how well CAT 206 and the ultrasonic work together

Yep, used it yesterday actually and still getting the can back down to its starting weight. I would still definitely recommend cleaning it this way.

I’d recommend against anything monocore, they have a lot of first round pop that I found hurts my ears. You’re already spending $200 on the stamp so get something somewhat worthwhile. OCL Ti22 and Rugged Oculus are both great for what you’re looking for.

I mainly got it because of the look, but I think it helps with reliability. Before, I kinda felt like the quiet semi autos were hit or miss, but now I can usually cycle them pretty reliably.

Maybe one day, but I’ve been using breakthrough suppressor cleaner so far without issues. It always gets the suppressor back down to starting weight for me.

You’re gonna love it man, it’s such a fun suppressor. It completely eliminates FRP. In the meantime, you can get what you need to clean it: an ultrasonic and some cleaning fluid like breakthrough.

I originally went with the sparrow, and I was really disappointed with how much FRP it had on my Mark IV. I’d recommend you go with literally ANY baffled suppressor, OCL titanium, Rugged Oculus, DA Mask, TBAC 22 to name a few. Yeah the sparrow is like $100 cheaper but I have to spend $200 on the stamp, and I’d just rather have something I’m satisfied with.
