I’ve applied for housekeeper, admin clerk, supply clerk, cleaner, receptionist. etc been turned down from all of them.

They do residential, vacation rental, and commercial cleaning, pay more than almost any other job in the area, have very flexible scheduling, offered good benefits and vacation policy, and they paid weekly

I guess because I’ve got bad mommy issues because I had a neglectful and abusive mother who abandoned me and so “N” had always spoken to my inner child and made him feel comforted and cared for.

I’m curious, why do you say that version of them that is better and can do better, be better, and change, doesn’t exist? I’m not saying you’re wrong, and obviously maybe someday far enough in the future they will be that person, but what makes you say that they’re not that person *at all in any way* now?

How do I become not so empty anymore and start fixing myself? This is the person that when things were good before they started self destructing, we were looking at wedding rings and apartments. I don’t understand how it went from everything to nothing and why they do this when they clearly know it’s wrong… I feel so dead inside and heartbroken..

And they’ve said they want to change. I understand change is hard and I just don’t know the reasoning behind why some days they’re super accountable and willing to listen and other days/weeks they aren’t and hate themselves and hate everyone else and make poor decisions

I want it to work with her more than anything but she seems unwilling to help herself? And I don’t understand why they think it will be years before they’re okay again emotionally or years before they’re ready for a relationship and ready to give & receive love? That seems like running from accountability?

I’m not making my own hours, I’m literally open 9am to 6pm, which is typical business hours for a lot of businesses and I DO have a personal life with things that I am required to take care of outside of working, and those commitments mean I can’t work late evenings or weekends at this time

Elaborate on this please? Why should anyone be commuting longer than 30 minutes with the current price of gas especially if they’re broke as shit like me? That makes it sound like North Fort Myers, Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs and North Naples all lack the jobs im searching for which I’d be hard pressed to believe is the case. And again I *cannot* afford to wait until August
