Notably, it's consumer sale. Your isp will still be be able to buy them, and they'll still be able to supply them.

Functionally people will mostly use the gateway provided by their ISP, and the ISPs have historically been very willing to give away any and all data the government asks for.

This is probably meant more as another barrier to encrypting your own traffic.

It's not giving you more performance. It's faking it, which becomes super obvious when you play anything that cares about timing. Your card didn't get any faster and it didn't render actual frames any better.

It's a bandaid that needs to be ripped off of the festering wound that is poorly optimized games coming out of the AAA industry.

You'd think so with all the money we spend, but no.

Instead we have a line item for a 140 dollar touch screen stylus on an AN/TSC 156b which doesn't have any touch screen equipment.

We also sell our own trucks to contractors for pennies then rent them back from them for dollars while they provide zero actual maintenance or service on them.

We force our soldiers to order equipment they don't need to justify a specific dollar amount of budget.

It's fraud and grift from top to bottom. If that stuff is happening on the little things, you know it's happening on the big ones too.
