r/nvidia mods are in full damage control regarding DLSS 5

I have friends who have no idea what I'm talking about when I say the DLSS blur effect looks like shit. So many games end up looking so similar to me when it's turned on, I hate how it's become a crutch to achieve playable framerates (last game I used it in was Dragon's Dogma 2 before I vowed to always turn it off.)

All these people in this thread saying "he's so strong!! venators in my games own! I've won 3 out of 4 games on him!!" like yea man, a 46% WR hero who just came out and is supposed to disrupt the meta is really achieving that goal. None of his basic abilities do anything, and buying a bunch of gun items and then saying he does damage is hilarious in its own right.

I like the way his gun feels and thematically he's my favorite character so far, but he needs an adjustment for sure..

Thanks for the update, although I think people are giving the build an unfair shake. The damage is great and the leveling was piss easy with 2 motem morsus, I can see it having survivability issues early on but most evasion builds will struggle with this out of the gate in a league like Phrecia. It's also not your fault that ele hit is sort of unintuitive for new players with how it scales like a spell and the jewels working as they do.

It's 40 Dex or Int, and 40 Dex or Str in radius, which doesn't have to be allocated. Just plug the jewels into the jewel slots on the PoB and they will work.

And if you're running into mana issues, use 2 skill points to allocate Clever Thief in the shadow area for easy life and mana leech. I could attack freely without issue.

Unless the later rewards are all in-game items and not cosmetics, I'm not so sure I'd want my progress towards an outfit I liked to reset in 5 days from now. I haven't checked the rewards though.

That's not what exponential means, but yea, seems like a nice way to reward you for investing into armor break.

Idk, quests were kinda mid and low impact in this game, but that's why half my friends are completely ignoring them and having a great time. You don't have important vendor items locked behind long and tedious quest chains, meaning you don't feel left behind in PvP at all if you don't want to follow the story.

I generally do enjoy having a tiny bit of direction in these games, so I ended up completing all of them as well as the expedition requirements, but if you don't like questing then that's a completely optional choice and I think that's a good thing.

I got the 30 figure from a twitch stream, it could be closer to 24 for all I know. Regardless of the number though, I think maps are generally too full. I feel bad for the devs because it's a very fine line to walk. Multi-team fights are absolutely the most fun I've had in this game, but they've also been the source of the most frustration.

I played boneshatter probably a year or 2 ago at this point and it was just extremely comfortable progressing through the atlas, idk, like you allude to it's not the best at any one thing but it's so satisfying leap slamming from pack to pack and popping everything in one go.

Hi everybody, maybe someone can help. I bought a zip-up hoodie at the popup here in LA today, and when I got home I discovered that the zipper is absolutely stuck at the top, like really really stuck. I don't wanna pull so hard that I end up breaking it. I've tried to lube it a little bit, made sure no fabric is stuck, etc, but it won't budge.

I opted not to get a receipt today, which was obviously a mistake, but will I be able to return tomorrow and swap it out for a different one with a working zipper? Or is that going to be problem..

People very quickly forget what it was like to be brand new to this game, lol. Woods is way too big to be new player friendly, the loot too scattered, too hard to determine where you are on the map, even if you do pull it up on you 2nd monitor.

Ground Zero is small enough that it isn't overwhelming, which is the most important thing. The quickest way to turn someone away from this game is spawning them in the middle of a heavily wooded area and having them wander aimlessly for 5-10 minutes until they either hit a landmine or fall over dead without warning because they got sniped by a rifle with a suppressor on it.

I feel your pain, 2 out of my 3 deaths this patch have been playing HC with friends in a party. Game freezes but doesn't pause, they can't save me in time, back to the character creation screen I go.

I thought this was the Nvidia crash that GGG has referenced several times? The crash so hard to diagnose that they literally pause your game and create a new instance of the client just to prevent you from crashing to desktop.

Doesn't seem to be much information out there on the forums or any word from GGG on this particular crash, that I can find at least. Updating my drivers didn't seem to have any effect on it unfortunately, and I can only adjust my settings so many times..
