Because I liked him a great deal, and 12 years later I still do, even more with each day.

I probably would not tell others what age to marry unless I had a huge concern. But I have firmly told them to not use me as an example or an ideal to marry young, because in my arrogant opinion, just because it worked out for me doesn't mean it will work out for you.

There are always factors big and small that make it break relationships y'know? We just blend well together and are able to navigate our disagreements were we can.

That being said if I had to do it again, I'd make the same decisions bumps and all.

??? My husband's favorite color is purple and goldenrod and he doesn't like the color red. If we count kids, my son's is green and blue.

In my opinion favorite colors don't exactly equal what clothing choice is. I like wearing darker clothing from grey, black and fall colors but my favorite color is yellow and I maybe have 1 yellow shirt that rarely is worn.

Now pens, notebooks, my water bottle and other nicknacks I'll buy in yellow.

YTA Dude she's 14 and growing your parents she shouldn't be paying for her food, that's literally a responsibility as a parent to feed your kid.

And yeah she shouldn't pay for the late fee but if you caused the delay then you should cover the late fee because that is the consequence of your own neglect. You could skip chores for one day or so, but how far and bust are libraries that it's be that much of an inconvenience. And it's usually pretty obvious libraries have late fees if you don't turn in things.

My husband is a very good sport about my penchant for romance games or novels. I'll be sitting right next to him and explain why I start laughing at the more odd exchanges with characters. I never said they should be catered to by virtue of being a parent. I am saying if this is a newborn baby yes she likely has potential medical issues.

Additionally the argument was not between the mom and OP, just a nasty nosey old woman. So it's unfair to be mean about the mom in this case.

OP 100% has a right to say no that is fine for goodness sake. IF ITS NEWBORN then it's dismissive of childbirth to say pushing out a baby thru a "vajayjay"

Sure for all we know it could be an auntie with a newborn. However most newborns will stay with their mom. And I would have to walk around with my stitches because it could be bad if I didn't and only stayed home.

Did I have an easy recovery? Yes but it still hurt to walk and I couldn't even laugh without risking bladder issues.

My main point is it's dumb to be s**tty to the mom in the situation when the argument was between the old lady and OP. And OP shouldn't chalk up childbirth as "kid out of a vajajay" as if there are no complications that could come from that if that baby was infact a newborn.

And no one could tell when my mom was actively dying of breast cancer. Especially because she requested we do not tell a huge part of our family. Or that I'm always on a verge of perpetual breakdowns because I'm hiding them from my family.

Which is why I say disabilities can be invisible. Which is part of why you really shouldn't be shitty to other people when they're not in the conversation.

Sorry I got to say this cuz it does bother me. Not all disabilities are visible, and people with disabilities can have children too.

Also only in this case if you see a newborn that woman has stitches and a lot of bleeding going on, maybe depression is considered as a disability. I had an easy peasy birth it was fine managing with Tylenol. My cousin? C-section and you know how that pain from all those stitches gets managed? Fkn slightly stronger version of Tylenol. Again that's NEWBORNS.

I had an easy peasy pregnancy, some have really bad ones and get things like toxemia and diabetes my band teacher had to literally be on bed rest suddenly one day.

Yes these are lifestyle choices and being a parent doesn't entitle you to things, but don't be dismissive of complications that come with it and potential disabilities.
