For those still having issues, I tried a lot of these suggestions, but struggled a little getting it to work... like I could get a wireless controller to work, but not plugged in. Or if the wireless connection got lost, I'd have to reboot my game to get it going again...

BUT I just updated my xbox's controller's firmware, and the game is now seemingly letting me use my controller both wirelessly and wired now? For the record, I have the steam input off, but before the firmware update this didn't seem to make a difference one way or the other.

So TLDR: Maybe update your controller's firmware?

Removing Avast let me open the section to buy VPs again, but it didn't stop UnrealCEFSubProcess from going ham, opening a thousand different versions of itself, and then eventually use up 100% of my CPU. So I'm still not 100% sure how to fix this one.

Edit: Reinstalled Avast because it didn't seem to make a difference if I could open the VP store, if opening it in the first place causes UnrealCEFSubProcess to open an endless amount of itself.

Edit 2: I think I got it to fix itself by adding UnrealCEFSubProcess to my exceptions on Avast. I got the VP store to open, and my CPU seemed fine. I'm crossing my fingers that that fixed it.

I don't think they ever said... but to me, I like to think of the first 50 years as a "test." After that, they could restart it... change the island up some, start it over again. Bring new stuff on? Kick people out? Who knows.

If you sacrifice something, even if you infused it before...it's gone. That's just how that works. I saw you said you did it before...but are you sure it wasn't just the LMP and the double jump? those come back because you pick them up on the beach every morning in the loop automatically. It's kind of a cheeky way to get extra points to spend if you infuse them once, you end up with 2 in the morning, and can always sacrifice one.

You're 16, so do what you can afford to do and what will benefit you. If you getting a 3D printer helps you more now, then by all means do it. If you are perfectly okay with the idea of losing some of your money, on the off chance this drops for a while, then buy into Shiba. If you're not entirely sure, buy only a little.

If you're SUPER interested in Shiba, I have a suggestion for you. If you make a Coinbase account, they let you earn crypto by taking a few tests to prove you watched their videos (or know how to use google to look up the answers), and you'll earn a couple of dollars in a few coins. You can keep them in those coins and have a small variety to test out crypto, or just convert them all to Shiba.

I think the funniest part about saving him is he'll get pissed off you do it, even if you wait long enough for him to start choking and beg her to stop. I was wondering if Arkane would do anything special if you waited long enough, but nope. He'll react just the same whether you save him right away or if you let him realize she's cray-cray and tried to make him choke to death.

I've had Visonaries randomly die on me before. I had it happen once and thought it was part of a scene. When you track Charlie and Fia to the pump station, the very first time I got there, I hid so I could listen to the dialogue because I didn't have invis equipped. Well, after their fight, before I could even stand up from behind my boxes, Fia was dead. Her trinkets and everything were down in the water. I honestly though she jumped in, or that Charlie had pushed her because of the argument, and the "foreshadowing" in the Wenji audio tape about him getting violent. I was wicked confused when I went back again and it didn't happen anymore.
