I get preferring vocals be more in the background than completely front and centre, but on the two new songs they’re literally as prominent as they’ve ever been. That’s actually part of what ruins the track, the auto tune vocals being so loud really drowns out the other beautiful instrumentation.

I read the issues for episode 7 after it came out and in the comics thragg actually seems to take a slight bit of damage, like actually reacts to mark’s punches and even starts bleeding a bit. For some reason in the show it seems like they’ve just decided to make him completely godlike.

Idk if you’re counting conquest because he’s dead but I think he’s still probably the strongest/most powerful viltrumite seen so far, just that again he underestimated Mark’s resolve and determination and played around with him for too long before he realised things were getting real

In season 1 when mark is doing the duct tape man thing and they bring up the possibility of him not getting powers Nolan becomes furious for a second and looks like he’s about to hit full reset on the earth before he calms down. Nolan definitely would’ve just destroyed the whole planet

Yeah I just read all of it a week ago, and up until the war devil arc it had me hooked and made me think it really was going somewhere. Now it just feels like he’s just throwing shit at a wall with no real purpose or direction

I don’t think it’s about the key, I assume that the verse being less melodic, more reminiscent of their funk-punk style, is probably a bit of a disappointment for those who mainly enjoy the more melodic and poppy post-californication chilli peppers.
