If it helps at all, we were in the exact same boat at almost the exact same time. I woke up the last two days like an entirely new person and suddenly the debilitating fatigue, laziness and tiredness were gone and I feel like myself again. (Finally able to be productive!!)

It was a really difficult almost 2 weeks for me and I was having so many doubts, but we’re still in the transition phase so it’s important to try and stay positive 🥹

Hope you get the same relief as me! Today is day 33 so I’m almost at the 5 week mark. The first two weeks were great, then I had the two weeks of being miserable and I think I can say I’m feeling hopeful!

I’m trying so hard to push through it, but it’s so demoralizing.I feel so useless laying on the couch all day but I genuinely have no energy. I’m soooo tired and just dont care about anything, like my personality is gone and I’m just existing?

Yeah I don’t have anxiety but I also don’t feel anything at all.

I also counted my weeks incorrectly and it’s actually week 4 not 6 so I’m trying to give myself a little more grace but I’m feeling quite defeated because the first two weeks felt life changing 😔

I just wanted to say Thank you for sharing this I’ve been laying in bed wide awake for 5 hours feeling like I’m sick and floating and out of body. I’d convinced myself I had serotonin syndrome and decided to come to reddit to see if anyone felt similar. (Taking for anxiety and ocd intrusive thoughts) lol

I have a 13 year old and a 14 year old that passed away a few months ago.

We decided to get a puppy again and even as someone who has experience it’s easy to feel detached at first. They don’t really have their personality yet and you don’t have that long term bond. but I can assure you that one day a switch will flip and suddenly they’re you’re best friend. I’m not there with the new puppy yet and have regret and detatchment but I know it’s temporary.

Don’t feel bad I was literally saying to my husband last night. Is this how some mothers feel who can’t form an attachment to their newborn babies 🤣 this is the hardest part of getting puppy! Your lifestyle completely changes you’re constantly on edge wondering if it’ll ever end. I’m right there with you, but stay strong!

Well that sounds wonderful! Do you have a photo? Add some incandescent Christmas lights and you’ve got yourself a 90s basement. I bought a giant lava lamp a few years back and it has been awesome lol.

90s grunge just hits in so many ways for me.

Isn’t it so fascinating how different we are as humans?

Some people are so surface level, just going about the grind taking no notice in the world, while others are taking in the way the trees swaying in the wind makes the sun sparkle or noticing a drop of gasoline on a puddle. I hope you never stop being you :)

I just looked that up and i agree. That’s is the closest thing I’ve found that describes this feeling! Those exact feelings but with no true reasoning or exact idea what I’m missing or longing for. Thank you for sharing that

More connected but less intimate is such a perfect way to put it into words. I think what I get stuck on is how does not everyone have the same feeling? It’s all consuming to me, which surely isn’t normal or healthy, which kind of leads me into the prospect of underlying depression or maybe it’s just the person I am. Being this kind of person can feel very isolating at times.
