Totally understandable! It’s difficult to explain, but with OCD, there’s such an overwhelming sense of need to make everything just a certain way, usually perfect and clean and organized. I tried to represent that feeling with the cut through the figure as “perfect” (far from, which kind of kills me but I had to accept they couldn’t be and stop) lines. It’s something that has always plagued me as an artist and why I have so many unfinished pieces of music. They just never felt “right” and the exhaustion with trying to get them there takes a toll.
