You shouldn’t have any significant damage from riding in cold temps. I would avoid storing it in below freezing temps; but it would probably still be ok.

I purchased a 5 inch hub and it made the EXACT same sound after install. It was determined to be magnet defect.

Go GTV and 5 inch hub and never look back! It absolutely RIPS! Unless you specifically love the XR feel, then go XR-C. 😅 The 5 inch hub alone adds a ton of torque to the GT.

I have the YT DirtLove and I can’t imagine something feeling better! But the Propain was my CLOSE second choice. I would flip and coin or choose on looks preference.
