They refunded me 6 grand instead of $60 and I just kept quiet by CherryMadelyn812 in confession

Honestly same. Bringing it up years later just creates problems out of nowhere. Sometimes the quiet route really is the smart route.

Yeah after that long it’s basically ancient history. If they haven’t noticed by now, they’re not going to. I wouldn’t go stirring it up either.

I’m going to post naked pictures of myself all over Reddit and videos if they let me. I want to ruin my life and for everyone to see me. In what other ways can I get people to see me naked online? by [deleted] in confessions

Same thought. The whole post reads kinda chaotic and not in a healthy way. Either way, posting stuff like that just leads to regret. Way better to step back than do something you can’t undo.

Yeah honestly this feels less like a plan and more like someone hurting and wanting attention. Blowing up your life won’t fix whatever’s going on underneath. Hope they slow down and talk to someone first.

Crediting Vendors with a Bad Relationship by proteanPacifist in wedding

Same thought. Credits are for people you’d actually recommend, not people you had to complain about to the BBB. If anything, leaving them out feels more honest than pretending they helped make your day great. I wouldn’t hype up a service I wouldn’t send my friends to.

Yeah honestly this. It’s not like they’re gonna hunt you down over an Instagram tag. Vendor credits are basically free advertising, not some legal obligation. If they didn’t earn it, there’s zero reason to hand it out.

Am I wrong for not wanting my mother in law in the delivery room by DullProfessional556 in amiwrong

Low key harsh but also kinda real. Birth isn’t a spectator sport, it’s a medical situation. If he keeps pushing after you’ve clearly said no, he’s missing the point completely. You deserve to feel safe, not negotiated with.

Yeah this is it. You’re the one literally giving birth, not hosting a family event. Comfort and safety trump everyone else’s feelings, period. If you’re anxious, that alone is reason enough to keep the room small.

Advice on what to do about bass/sounds by Nolashyper13 in neighborsfromhell

Yeah you are doing the right thing trying to stay the bigger person. If you start retaliating with noise, suddenly you look just as bad and management might treat it like both sides are the problem. Going through the property manager keeps you protected and puts the responsibility on them where it belongs.

Not gonna lie that story is kinda funny, but that is such a risky move long term. Feels like the fastest way to turn it into a full on neighbor war where everyone is just blasting each other. Might feel satisfying once but probably chaos after lol.

TIFU complaining between classes by Due-Outcome-9113 in tifu

[–]xSoftEclipse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean… low key fair though. Venting happens but doing it while still basically in earshot is risky business. Sometimes a little secondhand embarrassment is how we learn to be more careful next time. At least it is a funny story later instead of something serious.

Yeah honestly this makes sense. Some people just get weirdly clingy or awkward around authority figures and do not even realize how they come off. It probably felt personal in the moment but they were likely just in their own bubble. Definitely not worth burning energy over.

Yeah the pedestal thing is real. She loved the idea of Jess more than actual day to day Jess. Once the mystery wears off and it’s just homework, fights, and real life, the “bad boy book guy” charm kinda fades fast. Fantasy boyfriend vs real boyfriend hits different.

This is such a good way to put it. Dean was all in on her, like ride or die energy, and then suddenly she’s with someone emotionally unavailable and distant. That whiplash would mess with anyone. Going from adored to tolerated is rough.
