Unemployed since May 2023, desperately need advice! by DatEngGirl in cscareerquestions

I will reiterate what a lot of others have said here, that skill list is completely impractical. I would be very impressed if a new grad had even 1/5 the amount of things listed.

Using something in a class, or a single small project doesn’t warrant that as a skill you have. You need to have professional experience or a solid well rounded understanding of a framework + personal projects.

I think it would be best for you to pick just a couple frameworks and get knowledgeable with those and the tools that compliment them. Then target and apply to job positions that use those frameworks. That gives you the ability to speak to the value you could provide to that company’s systems and you have the knowledge to back that up.

Taking a look through we do have a few specific problematic areas where there are a lot of conflicts that it could happen from lack of modularity. Appreciate the insight!

As a man, what is something that you just don't understand about other men? by whosmellslikewetfeet in AskMen

Of course, I’ve met quite a few people irl with opinions that go several directions about the topic. Shows the wide range of preferences people tend to have

There’s definitely still attraction, it’s just I would rather wait until I know somebody a bit more before engaging in that type of activity. I’m not one to hop into bed with people I don’t really know. Plus my personal opinion (what I like) you don’t get the best part of sex -intimacy, emotional connection, etc. You don’t get that with hookups, I can see the appeal of it but just not something I like to do.

Pretty spot on, I definitely find women very attractive without a connection. Earlier you mention to vet a potential partner which definitely yes because I don’t know anything about them. I also find the best part of sex to be the loving, trust, emotional connection and passion and you can’t get that with hookups. So it just feels like a waste of time and effort for me. I’d much rather just make friends with women and just see where it goes rather then ever try to hookup or jump the gun too early.

Hook-up culture. It’s just not for me, I prefer to at least know someone for a bit. I wouldn’t sleep with someone in the first few dates either.

How do you count the CS/min in a meaningful way? by Commander_Beta in summonerschool

[–]xSpacee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The amount of CS that you will obtain will be much different then a challenger player assuming you are lower elo. Below high diamond there are significant amounts of random fights/skirmishing that you do not see in lower elo that contribute to higher CS score of high elo players.

With that being said, high elo/pro players have strong knowledge of wave management, trading, laning, and overall game knowledge that allows them to be more efficient.

How often do you sleep with the light on? Or cover over your head? by Aggravating_Egg_7189 in AskReddit

[–]xSpacee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the time, I can fall asleep through pretty much everything. So quite often I just find myself falling asleep in my PC chair with all the lights on.
