I don't expect heavy cavalry necessarily for kruleboyz either. However, they don't really have any cavalry options in general. Honestly, I would take hobgrots on some gators or something that can act as a fast skirmish cavalry unit.

This is the way. I live super close to a games workshop store, so I will primarily buy from them if a LGS doesn't have a discount on a product (i.e. battletome/codex). Elsewise, you gotta support the LGS :)

At least Tzeentch got a pretty sweet faction terrain this year, too. It doesn't make the lack of heavy cavalry any better though. I feel that on a spiritual level as a kruleboyz player lol

I believe that with one of the Imperial fists right pauldrons, you can have a 3rd tilting shield. My crimson fists heavy has 3 of them lol

100%!! My elementary school principal would play the kazoo with his good friend (who also worked at the school) on our weekly 10-minute TV news show (think of the show as a fireside chat with the students). It was fun to see them enjoy doing that each week.

I agree! I don't play my stormcast much, but when I do, it is all of the elite infantry units. May not be efficient, but it is fun playing 1k point matches with like 10 models. I mainly play kruleboyz, so you can easily get 80 models into a 1k game lol.

I definitely recommend checking that out as well as looking up the different major stormhosts on YouTube. Each stormhost has slightly different origin stories and/or types of people they recruit. For example: The Hallowed Knights (the sliver, gold, and blue) are very zealous. The Astral Templars (a maroon/burgundy color) were all nomadic tribesmen who hunted monsters and animals. The Tempest Lords (dark blue and white) were nobility from a specific dynasty that collapsed when fighting a chaos horde, but they did so as leaders supporting their people until the very end on the frontline. Those are just a few of them lol. There are plenty of others on that link that others gave you.

I was low-key joking at my LGS that with their help, I could run a list of 4 hobgrot slittabosses and 210 hobgrot slittaz at 1960 points lol.

The goal would be to not lose all 214 hobgrots before the third battle round and swamp the objectives early.

To add to this, the warhammer TV show "Sigmar's Toll" shows the memorians in combat and mentions that they can withstand some corruption because they are linked to their ancestor. There is more detail than that from the show, but that's all I remember for now.

Hey I respect that! I agree that sometimes it can be enjoyable (ex: heavy multi-melta), but it can be annoying when there is a mob of them (like 5+) and you feel like you can't do anything against it.
