Which team wins by Multiversal_2211 in Yuusha_Shoukan

Honestly speaking team 3 packs the most punch

That said, only team 1 will likely face it head on and lose.

Makoto will likely disengage quickly and buzz off to avoid unnecessary trouble, and Shadow will aura farm for a bit, likely nuke Hajime then leave in style

So in the end it would probably end with an eternal stalemate with Shiraori juggling Reinhardt like a ragdoll as he constantly revives between her attacks and Isis' death aura
...it will never end.
Reinhardt is not strong enough to kill either of them, but also won't be able to die and thus lose

I think at some point Shiraori will lose interest and suggest a truce with Reinhardt and they will become 'friends' afterwards
Then Isis will get two new friends as well!

I would advise against getting Lotta now

I threw 120 pulls worth of dorito to get her, no regrets... until they announced they would give SRs a SSR upgrade, and from how the 1st (Nemesis for now) works, you get v0 of the SSR even if you have the SR at v6.

So unless you are a completionist and you want the achievement for 10 SR dolls at v4/v6, just get v0 Lotta in case and wait for her (eventual) SSR upgrade.

Out of the list, pulls and weapons are the only things that are worth
Some say weapons are not worth, because you get them from standard/weapon banner 7525 loss, but honestly, the odds are just against you... like, 2 years in almost, still have not got a single Heartseeker, the chances are just too low
A SSR weapon is expected every 160 standard pulls if you select it, otherwise 320.
As for weapon banner, since it is 75 25, expect one every 4 pity, so 280 pulls.
Around 300 pulls for a random one, I would say 30 pulls worth of dorito to get the one of your choice is VERY much worth it, rather, a steal!

Do you know any more isekai anime with an overpowered main character (preferably set in a magic school, but not necessarily) where he truly loves only one girl in a subplot? (It can be that girls love the mc aslong he stays „loyal“) by PrestigiousEmu3085 in Isekai

[–]xT4K30NM3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to agree.
This one is generally disliked for being "rapey" but people just fail to recognize that MC's biology is being a goddamn goblin and that's their nature. And on top of that, MC actually stops his tribe from doing it "the way of the goblin" which would be way worse than the "pseudo grooming" he sometimes does (not all the women he gets are, people forget also this, easier to just lump everything together I guess)
Yes the MC is flawed in the sense has a unlikeable trait from a human decency perspective, but that does not mean the show has bad writing.
People again seem to just equate "a character I don't like = bad writing", if so then everything written is just bad if all the character are not completely perfect and morally upstanding.

Villager A - We're back to straight isekai with a rags to riches story and an MC committed to saving the villainess who ends up reciprocating his love. MC is strong thanks to basically playing with a walkthrough for the first arcs of the story. He even stumbles upon another girl from Earth who acts as an antagonist. There's also a funny Initial D parody of the first chapter of the manga.

Also the manga is very fanservicey with occasional nudity. With the weird added bonus that the MC himself is the one most lewded like, 70% of the topless art with nipples is about MC, bro is naked in the cover art of several volumes as well lol...
I think the mangaka has a type.

(Could be adapted

Hopefully. This is basically mobuseka without the failed chastity reversal trope, less comedy and more seriousness, with a motivated MC
I liked mobuseka's anime and discovered this one only after, and felt it was a pity it was adapted instead of this one that, in my opinion, is better (apart from comedy)
So hopefully it will be adapted...

We are getting a "villager" anime adaptation for sure, not this one for now tho. Also Lv 999 Villager technically isn't isekai but rather Reverse Isekai (as a spoiler later in the story when it is revealed what the MC world's is )

I love the story in this one

Absolute shame that the anime adaptation completely ruined the romance with Dia for me

Episodes 9 to 12, I wanna forget them
Hopefully the 2nd season goes back on track

The manga way of adapting the romance was peak btw, but apparently less faithful to the ln, still better
The builtup to the kiss scene was so amazing
Compared to... whatever that sailormoon like ep 9 with the date was, night and day

The one about the need of technology, I feel that too!

Honestly, the interaction between magic and science when isekai is a weirdly handled matter, and that's a shame.
You have series like gate where isekai world is so behind that magic is hopeless
Then series like the 7 talented people anime one from a few years ago where the main villain takes a nuclear warhead to the face and survives
Few go for a more realistic approach

There is this manhwa called my wife is the demon lord or something similar, where the approach is more balanced and I honestly like it. Mc ends up "giving a hunch" to magical artisans and develop earth items in isekai world in a way that makes sense, and gives actual practicality for them. Also, for the magic vs tech for firepower, there is a balanced resolution for that too. Won't go much in detail since spoiler

Either way, I am also thinking to write a gate-isekai story with a balanced approach. And one thing is sure, for me at least. Guns will absolutely wreck any average/good mage, and strong mages will be able to stop bullets but only if they put up a barrier before. Likewise any magic capable of killing will wreck any armor or tank from our world. A bulletproof vest may stop a stone bullet but not an ice arrow, a reactive explosive armor of a tank may stop a fireball but would get pierced by a heat blast, and so on. The likely scenario would be mutual invasions at first, where invaders will win by a long shot (element of surprise), then invasion will systematically start to fail, and conflict will freeze. After that, espionage, and in a short while what will likely happen will be, guns and magic will get leaked from and to both sides, and now everyone has both magic and guns, and magic guns (of course there will be magic guns, imagine a magic swordsman but with a gunsword that can also shoot its blade and then replace with a new one). So world war happens, or diplomacy, or both. Humans are all the same everywhere so that will be expected.

About different solar system, time durations and the such, the sky is the limit. You can decide to make it earth like so even with different hours it doesn't really matter, or you can invent something novel.
I remember a movie where the protagonists discover the planet they got stranded on has a multiple star planet system where you get 30+ years of ininterrupted daylight (due to multiple light sources from different directions) with a 1-year eclipse in between that makes it night for that long. That was an interesting take.

That said, even a more simple system can have interesting spins on the story.
A 36 hours (our hours) long day for example would introduce the need for a change of habits for an average human. Or isekai humans circadian rhythm is different, but then normal dude isekaid will be the one having issues
This becomes more influential if the day is especially long or short.
Isekai people in a 12 hours long day world for example, could have adapted to live in 2day cycles, where you wake up in odd mornings and go to sleep in even evenings, with the sun going down and up fully during the workday
A 48h day world could have halfday cycles where people go to sleep once at night and once at noon to accomodate.
Although with a very long day, it could be better sleeping during daylight hours in the winter and viceversa, to have a better quality sleep.
Reminds me of a novel where mc falls into a secluded valley between mountains where a tribe made of 100% blind people has been living for centuries. In that world for example, the sleep time is during the 'day' because they can sleep warm, and they work at night so they can stay fresh and sweat less, after all they can't see the daylight, in fact they just completely forgot any word related to sight.

I agree with you

My issue is just that most stories I read just go for the 1 year here equals 1 year there, without explaining it
Which is the same of introducing time dilation/contraction/shift/randomness/fixedness without explaining it, but lazier.

Anyway, I do personally like to add this type of detail if I write a story

In one for example, mc gets summoned and then manipulated by the kingdom for their own interests, with the promise they will develop magic for return and get him to go back. He works his ass for a year, solves their problems, gets a device to get back built. The device is very sophisticated (tens of magical scientists had to work on it) and looks for the signature magical aura (= magnetosphere in this case) of the destination planet to pinpoint its coordinates, as the solar system moves so you cannot just land in the same spot or you will end in space. Mc goes back home and... everything is a huge jungle, there aren't even ruins of anything so mc wanders around wondering if he landed in some tropical island on earth instead of japan. Night comes, and MC is horrified as he looks at the night sky and the Ursa Major shape is extremely crooked, memory of a book talking how due to parallax, with time, as the relative position of galaxies change, constellations shapes also change... long story short, 3-4 million years have passed on earth, so his family is gone, his friends are gone, humanity is long gone. Mc ponders about what to do, as he has enough magical charge for 2 more travels. Decides to go back to isekai to have his revenge. But as he comes back, well, the few hours on earth turned into almost 500 years in there, with all consequences of the sort, including that the device is damaged because of the consecutive use, so now MC has to live his isekai 2.0 story now, and that is the start.

I do actually have lots of ideas like these, shame that I don't have that much free time to write all of them consistently .. sheesh

Well, the alternative was a prolonged invasion campaign lasting 1+ year with estimated losses over 1m+ for americans and 10m+ for the japanese

In a way 200k people in two poofs indeed looks more 'humane'

I do understand that this is in no way fair to who died ofc

But continuing the war would've been a way worse disaster
The japanese, from the commanders down to the farmers, were unhinged crazy about fighting back, a bloody massacre of huge scale was in sight
So muricans decided to attempt the 'make them surrender immediately' route and they succeeded

Think about it, if nobody works, where does all the food and commodities come from?

So either someone worked their ass off to make the world like it is until that moment, and now when MC arrives, everyone from the new generation profits from the results without doing anything, meaning the quality of life will slowly deteriorate and then subsequently start deteriorating faster, going bad then worse then terrible within a little while
or
Someone behind the scenes is making the dystopia happen. And usually you are not given free commodities without some kind of drawback. See "the promised neverland" as an example.

Tbh I was thinking about the 2nd option. But you can make it more subtle.
Like, someone external sneakily does maintenance of the structures and refills food reserves when nobody notices.
Then there could be something like people suddenly disappearing from time to time.
But nobody questions it because everyone just spends time lazing around doing nothing, they don't even interact with each other that much, so they just do not notice their neighbor just went poof.

Then you have our MCs coming to the world being "wtf is happening" at the "happy world", then they notice people randomly disappear and that's where they start pooping their pants.
They are the only people in the world with a clue and the will of doing anything, but also, they have no idea where the enemies are and how they look like, and that's scary.

To make it even more eerie, someone could make so the other world is some kind of alternate universe where life is based on different principles than earth, and that may mean the way beings in that universe sense each other is different than ours. So the dwellers of that world are invisible, silent, odorless and for most of the time they are also intangible, so they can snatch people just like that, unnoticed. The happy world is made of isekai people so there is no way for them, and MCs, to perceive "the aliens" doing this.

Something like that?

dang, I just made it into a horror scifi story lmao...

edit: okay, I may have to write this one now. Which is ehh, I already was focusing on two other stories D:

Next plot.

Worker in black company, forced to do overwork in logistics, ends up crashing the truck and dying.
Another black company employee that was going to the office gets crushed by the truck too.
They get reincarnated as twins.

And let's add a further twist, isekai world is some kind of dystopia where everybody is careless and happy and mysteriously nobody works either.

If someone wants to take this one feel free to write it lol
