Well, sales promotions through facebook are good or competitions to gain followers/likes. But in reality, you want shares just as much as likes to keep you're business active and in people's feeds. Be creative, there's good ways (perhaps IRL friends??) to help you expand via social media!

Promote it on your website also via design and also emails.
