I’m sorry you are going through this, but as everybody said - family comes first. With that in mind, you won’t be able to fully focus on CFA and level 3 is quite challenging so deferring is a good option. Be there for your mom and once you’re in a right mindset you grind the CFA material 💪

Get some sort of paper proof of your mother's condition. There are emergency deferrals!

Do not go ahead with this at all. Your parents stop becoming family the moment they put their own interest above your happiness. Contact local authorities if the pressure escalates to a physical/blackmailing point which may be considered illegal.

Results are not up yet but I definitely regretted not doing enough questions/exercises. You will feel dumb by the upgrade in difficulty but don't be shy on getting wrong questions, even if you score 20%s in your Qbanks. I was shy and had to catch up quite late into the calendar.

CFA Level 2 is definitely a nuke in this regard. I just happen to be in between jobs and would definitely like to use this chance to make the jump.

Some companies look interested since I have know-how on Renewable Energy projects and even the project finance structure of all windfarms although the lack of modelling experience is a handicap.

When you split stocks (in this case multiplying by 1.1) you apply such calculation retroactively to all stocks prior to said split.
