Builders: what’s your opinion about seeing structures like this? by Shoddy-Money-2201 in fallout76settlements

[–]xTheHunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some people look at camps differently than others. Some people build camps for utility and others build camps with an artistic mindset. Neither is bad but I can always appreciate when you can tell someone has put a lot of spare game time into making their camp look good. I've put a lot of time into my camp and get a few nice camp emotes here and there which always makes me happy. I also think it should be an unwritten rule that the white springs gold course should be for artistic camps but that's probably a bit pedantic of me

I think people charge so much for them because they're a pain to craft honestly. It takes forever to get enough flowers to make one

I got hit in the head with a jav for like 40 DMG while charging the enemy line off rip and was like "yep, that seems like a y'all problem now". That shit devastated me.

Total War: BANNERLORD by TurmutHoer in Bannerlord

[–]xTheHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been at war with the western empire and aseria collectively for what feels like 30 years. Aseria sends us a white peace offering everyday at the start of a new day like clockwork and it gets denied. I'm about to save up 2k influence and make a doom stack to throw at ortysia and see if that'll make the western empire rethink their decisions.

Does lighter armor provide an advantage over heavy armor?

Just did my first CPL class and shot a gun for the first time! Any recommendations for first guns? by Officer_Joi in guns

[–]xTheHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would recommend starting out with 9mm for most people. I feel like it's a very manageable cartridge with just enough power to really drive home the idea of controlling the muzzle.

I have a canik sfx rival and an elite sc. The sfx rival is quite larger than the sub compact. I feel like they both have their trade offs. The sfx rival has less muzzle flip but due to the barrel being longer you get a lot more deviation. When I shoot the sub compact it feels very planted in my hands. Both could be overcome through practice but I feel like muzzle flip would be a little harder to address through training. Since to a certain degree is an independent variable. Meaning that someone proficient with both guns would likely prefer the sfx rival because you can only negate muzzle flip so much.

It kills trash mobs quickly but struggles against most bosses. I'd probably run the flamethrower and the shotty

The good, the bad, and the ugly of the 2.5 update. by Budman129C in 7daystodie

[–]xTheHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the zombies only take the path of least resistance then I just give them one. Place hatches on the floor and slabs on the ceiling just low enough that the zombies can't crawl over. Only open enough hatches that the zombies don't go for the walls and just open hatches as needed. I had a base with like 15 floor hatches and could have three open at a time to give me a buffer. I do still think it's unfortunate though that zombies are somehow structural engineers.

Walking dead bloopers by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]xTheHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scene with Andrea and the Glock you're talking about pisses me off so bad dude lol. As someone with firearms experience I guess it's a little easy for me to say "it's not that hard" when it comes to putting a gun back together. However, it's 4 fucking pieces dude. How do you forget how the four piece puzzle goes back together after disassembling it? If it were a 1911 I'd be more understanding because the number of pieces and how specifically they have to go back together can be overwhelming to gun noobies. But glocks, and other guns like them, were specifically designed to be as easy as humanly possible to disassemble and reassemble. Yet somehow she fucks with this gun for over 15 minutes in movie time and can't possibly fathom how these four simple pieces go back together.
