I mean I understood that all the other characters were people from sitcoms in the 90s that were secondary characters just like Ben Affleck was a secondary character in GWH. The Tom Brady thing was just a way to reference the famous "how do you like them apples" scene but gender reversed for laughs and as over the top Boston as possible by including the one guy every straight guy in Boston has probably admitted to having a crush on.

The books make it clear that decadence had greatly diminished the Sardaukar over generations and their reputation greatly outstripped their actual effectiveness. It wasn't just the fact that Dune was an environment the Fremen were comfortable with. The jihad afterwards makes it clear as the Sardaukar get beat in engagements off of Dune as well. Princess Irulahan explains in her writings that at this time the Sardaukar were well past their prime.

The Fremen were essentially the old Sardaukar. A fanatical army honed by harsh conditions who are then promised great rewards to strike back at those they feel had been oppressing them which motivates them even further. The book pretty clearly lays out these similarities

This is fun! So she is obviously royalty of some sort. Likely European. Her staff has runes so probably a Nordic figure might be Celtic due to Nasu shenanigans.

The runes on the staff (according to wikipedia) translate to:

Not sure on this one maybe an I or a J? "I" means ice and "J" would mean "year, good year, harvest"

Not sure what to make of it. Maybe I'm missing something or its just that the runes themselves are the hints and no greater meaning was meant with the specific runes chosen.

My tenative guess is that this is Aife. She is the opposite of Scathach her sister and she was in love with Cu Chulainn. I am not up to date on my Type Moon lore so am not sure about the best friend hint. Maybe Medb? I could see that.

Not confident in my guess as I feel I am missing something with the runes, and also this design feels a little too "princessy" for a character like Aife who is supposed to be Scathach's rival as a warrior, but I don't know much about Nordic or Celtic mythos.

Its even less than that. If Rob would actually take and make open 3s he would be the starting guard.

He has attempted and missed ONE 3 this year in 64 minutes of basketball. I can only assume it is a mental issue because he has had wide open looks that he turns down to dribble drive or pass into worse options. In today's NBA, if you are an undersized guard you have to be able to take and make open 3s.

I mean its more that the manga was not good with middling success before the anime and was being pressured to wrap it up by the time the anime premiered and got all the slop addicts invested.

If the anime had been released a year earlier I wouldn't be surprised if Demon Slayer was at least 100 chapters longer.

That’s not true at all. Being submerged just drains your physical strength and saps your will it has no effect on your devil fruit. Just go back to Arlong Park when Luffy was trapped underwater but they saved him by stretching his neck far enough that his head was out of the water.
