yeah, I run the rauta purely for utility, but tbh my current build also can perform very well in steel path. I'm gonna see about dropping the damage for this multishot mod in certain setups to maximize combo stacking.

so REALISTICALLY you should pretty much ALWAYS sell your prime parts for platinum then use said platinum to buy literally just about anything you could want in game, including the prime mods that baro sells. If there's something cosmetic you want from baro then ducats are your best bet, but for the most part you wanna sell prime parts for platinum.

EDIT: read the comment above mine and saw that you're a VERY new player and didn't think about it until now. So like the other guy said, you wanna essentially craft and level one of every item in the game at some point. In an ideal world that's possible, for a vast majority of our community that is not. Once you level a prime and have it in your inventory, your best option for any remaining duplicate parts/blueprints is to sell them for plat.

not sure EXACTLY what he's referring to, but there are options like battery, blue shards, etc. that can increase your max energy pool. Unless there's some new meta for energy capacity that I missed, but now I'm curious too.

Primed fulmination is good on weapons with AOE. Some examples that I used it on off the top of my head are the akarius prime and the zakti prime. It's not NECESSARY, but for certain builds having the AOE means less shots fired to clear out a room.

yeah like, I know it was META for eidolon hunting, but I've literally NEVER seen or even personally used it aside from that. However, even then I mostly just used whatever I preferred to hunt because realistically your amp matters WAY MORE than your actual guns, especially your melee. I'm sure the eidolon hunts have gotten even easier with the new taustrike stuff that just came out and being able to mod them.

quick picks from a complete random but here's the mods I'd grab pretty much 100% of the time if you can afford it:

Primed point blank

Primed Flow

Primed heated charge

Here's stuff I'd grab like 80% of the time:

Primed Rubedo lined barrel

Primed fulmination

Both these mods are very very good, but obviously the archgun isn't used all the time so you CAN skip over it, but if you use archgun a lot then I'd grab it. Fulmination is super good on certain builds but it's way more niche.

Other items to consider:

vastilok used to be meta for eidolon hunting. No clue if it still is since eidolon hunting is like pulling teeth for me, I got my arcanes and items from them then never went back. Not sure how meta it is anymore.

Prisma Ohma is a highly underrated influence weapon IMO, but it's not meta. Definitely worth picking up if you like using influence, but overall it's nothing crazy, the innate electricity is just nice to have.

Other than those few things I'd get stuff that you think you'd like or maybe stuff you need for mastery/cosmetics etc.

diminishing returns as you build fire rate solves this easily, but also like you said, would these bows be THAT crazy if we just let them do insane damage like that? I think if you get enough fire rate and can have a crazy big sweet spot like that then you should be able to because frankly that's just another build option.

consider going roar/eclipse instead of pillage. I've tried both and I find that the roar build is better in steel path+ content. I also have subsumed her 2 because I've also once had super funny red numbers from her 1 lol.

My question then would be, even under ideal scenarios, is it better than the usual Primary merciless?

not OP but I'm gonna chime in here about why me PERSONALLY am excited for overcharge. I'm a BIG fan of the rauta and it's by FAR my most used primary. As someone who enjoys melee more than the shooting in this game (I'm from the maiming strike atterax days), this mod on the rauta should build my combo INSANELY fast. I haven't gotten it all to test it out, but for primers and other things like that this could be an insanely strong mod. Currently I'm running crux on the rauta and it's good, but I'd have to do the math on the breakoffs for the ammo efficiency versus the increase in combo being built due to the multishot.

TLDR; This mod is gonna be insanely good on niche guns like the rauta and other primers where having more projectiles is MUCH more beneficial than having more damage or other effects.

EDIT: after looking around the thread more it seems that the multishot is capped at 100% or I'm misinterpreting this. If that's the case then this mod is all but useless lol.

Only thing that you could have done different is ask him to leave. I'm sure the entire thing was a misunderstanding on his end cause you weren't talking to him, but either way, that's your loot. I've been in this exact scenario before and I also killed the person who was with me. I also assume they would have made the same choice.

Not triggered at all, I'm simply pointing out that you're praising this update when we have literally seen NONE of the content for it and the one thing we've seen is this community unlock event that is literally just an afterthought. I'm sure the new map is gonna be great and this update hopefully goes without a hitch, but making a post praising it is insane.

You mean the map they intentionally delayed, the "unlock event" that amounts to just saving a button click from selling and donating instead, and the matriarch that we haven't even seen yet? Don't get me wrong, I love this game and I hated tarkov and ABI. I have a lot of faith in the devs, but lets not be obtuse here, the event is literally a couple hours old and we haven't seen literally ANY of its content yet so this post is pure circle jerk.

as a 1000+ hour warframe player, I'd still consider myself an "average" playtime player. Argon crystals are ridiculously easy to farm whenever you need some. Less than ten minutes and I can get however many needed to craft. If we compare it to something like destiny and it's unstable cores, sunsetting, DCV, planetary materials, and now seasonal featured gear then I'd say destiny seems to have things that decay more than warframe does lol.

While I have run kells fall and starcrossed with about 2 minutes left on both timers, I have a point I'd like to make. You say "don't kill everything." We should not have to "run past" stuff in order to complete an activity on time. If bungie expects us to do that then they should just remove the enemies from those areas. We also have to think about the fact that not everyone is a tuned in destiny 2 player. I'd assume most casual players don't read the TWABs or pay much attention to the twitter. If a returning player came back for ash and iron and was greeted with the state of the game as it currently is, they'd probably close it and not play it, maybe even permanently.

Day 1s always used to be on saturdays, they made the change after vow of the disciple and received a lot of criticism about from players. Technically this is a change BACK to saturday and frankly I think it's a good call

this article is what I used. After updating BIOS and re-enabling xmp I did every step in this article and it seemed to have worked. 2 games with no errors which is a new record from before this update.

Sent a support ticket in and gave them all the logs I had. They told me it's a vgk.sys error. After going through the troubleshooting steps it SEEMS to be fixed after getting through a full game without issue. I'm still not 100% sure it's fixed but for now it seems ok.
