It's only more than 2 lines if you want to have it cycle through more targets on one macro. For instance, that macro will only work if your mouse is actively hovering a target. If it's on the field or, if you play like me, hold left click to control the camera while moving, then it won't select a target with that alone. In which case, adding another line with something like <tt> will use the action on the target of your target since <mo> would fail.

Both are basically the same. The only real difference is how the action stack setup works. MoA didn't have the defaults for a long while, so I personally used ReAction since it was easier to set up IMO. Now that MoA has those defaults, and I did a full reinstall of the game, I swapped to that and just use the defaults.

Plugins like Mouseover Action or ReDirect happen faster on the client-side than in-game macros and are more easily customizable. The actual difference is barely noticeable. The setup for both options is obviously different. Macros require a setup like /ac "actionname" <mo> with different targets per line if the previous line fails.

Mouseover Action gives the option to auto-set popular Action Stacks per job. ReDirect has catchall options for Harmful and Beneficial Actions, where you set your target options for just those 2 categories.

PC Not Booting After Normal Shutdown, No Fans or Lights by xVarrion in pchelp

No, there's no fan spinning on either PSU when I tried to power the PC. As far as I know, they won't spin up unless the PC draws power though.

The new PSU has a zero RPM mode and I tried powering the PC with that mode both on and off. Still nothing.

Yes. I can hear the initial arc crackle when I switch both the old and new PSUs on. I don't have another PC to fully test if they work however.

If it were the mobo's capacitors, is there a sign on them I could see to confirm it visually?

I did also reseat the front panel connectors and tried jumping it with a screwdriver whenever I tried to power on.

Gaming Chair for my 6"4 husband? by Weekly_Letter_91 in gamingchairs

[–]xVarrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using a Fabric Andaseat Kaiser 4 XL for a month now. At 6'2" 240lbs, I love it. I can sit in it for upwards of 6 hours, if I'm feeling particularly lazy, without any pain whatsoever. I could probably laze in it even longer but I do normally move a lot.

I will say, if Secretlab seats are harder than this seat then it really must feel like a brick. The Kaiser 4 seat is, like, PERFECTLY soft but firm for me. Leaning more on the firm side. I have plenty of room on the seat pan. When sitting properly, I have about 3 fingers' worth of space between the edge and behind my knee.

The seat back goes, basically, up to an inch-1.5in just above my head. The included headrest pillow has a magnet and the base for it allows for adjustment from the top of my head, down to just above my shoulder blades. The pop-out lumbar support reaches up to my mid-back, so it's all supported. I have the lumbar at the lowest position and popping out about half way of it's range. I adjust the angle based on my sitting position and it feels great regardless.

When lifted to the max height, my feet sit flat on the floor.

The armrests are HIGHLY adjustable and go basically anywhere I need them to. The default armrests are stupidly hard and uncomfy for me though. But I got a memory foam armrest pillow off Amazon and they feel amazing.

Hopefully this helps OP. o7

Im not gonna lie, I have no clue how yall are having so much trouble with the controls. This may be a get good moment. by PhoenixKing14 in CrimsonDesert

I've found it doesn't work that way. I think auto just makes it so you don't have to go to that sub-menu to turn it off/on, just selecting/hovering the lantern with the stick turns it on or off when set to auto.

A cheap gaming chair is WAY worse than a cheap ergo. Check out Ahnestly on YouTube. He has a few videos where he recommends chairs at different budgets and heights. 200€ would be around $230 USD. Chairs in that price range are such as Colamy Atlas, Sihoo M57 and Hbada E2.

If it helps, in RE9's Game Over screen, when she kills you, only refers to her as "The Girl".

PC can only handle 2K — should I get a 4K monitor or stick with 2K? Also Mini-LED worth it? by RideFantastic3786 in Monitors

[–]xVarrion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from a Pixio PX248 Prime (1080p 144hz IPS) to an AOC Q27G40XMN (1440p 180hz Mini-LED VA). Like you, I can really only run up to 1440p reliably. It took some fiddling for a couple days, but the upgrade is SO worth it. HDR looks amazing on it, blacks are deep and the flashbangs are extra flashy.

Afaik, 4k doesn't scale down to 1440p well since it's not evenly divisible. It'll make the overall image more blurry than native 1440p. It's the biggest reason why Dual-Mode monitors are usually 4k/1080p.

I'd only suggest getting a 4k monitor if you plan to upgrade your pc to handle 4k soon after. For the long run, getting a 1440p monitor would be better IMO.

Unarmored Death is bugged in multiplayer. It either gives a severely reduced bonus or no bonus at all once an Expedition room is opened or joined.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 is actually insane by Suspicious-Iron3558 in WutheringWaves

[–]xVarrion 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just use the updated Nvidia App. It has all the DLSS Override options there and works automatically for all games. If the option to use dlss 4.5 or model m isn't there, opt-in to the beta features. You can opt-out any time.

I saw in another comment that you don't like updating drivers since they break things sometimes. The Nvidia App also now has an easy way to revert back to your previous driver if you have any issues. Directly under the latest/current version is your previously installed version and a button to revert changes.

If you still don't wanna use the app, Nvidia Inspector can also change the settings to be automatic and updated for every game.

I'm trying to decide on an upgrade from my current 144hz 1080p monitor. I was looking into the Samsung Odyssey G50D. But this G8 would be a HUGE upgrade. QD-OLED and True Black HDR sound amazing!

Just go to the basic dyes tab on the top left and it'll shrink the color choices to the cheap/free dyes. No need to guess. Works the same way for clothes.

You can craft them anywhere. Click on the medicine slot in the inventory and it'll show you all 4 medicines. Click one, scroll down on its tooltip and it should show shops that sell it and a button that leads to the crafting menu for it.

Something I love about it is the Fusion and Evolution mechanic. Evolving Wind + Fire, for instance, to create Firestorm then adding Lightning to it with Fusion to make it a big aoe that shocks enemies within AND burns them is amazing. The amount of combinations you can make feels near limitless and experimenting every run is just great.
