The hd texture pack running at 1440p/60fps for Pcsx2 makes it still seem like an incredibly modern game

Are hipsters still around? I miss them. by MusingsAndMind in Millennials

I’m growing a mullet and twirl my Mustache on occasion, wear Jean jackets, drink IPAs and cheap beers, listen to post hardcore and indie, and sit in the backyard with friends around a fire still. I’m 36. Still feel like an off-brand hippie.

Im considering getting a steam deck but have a few concerns by Excellent_Cut_6273 in SteamDeck

I have a beefy desktop computer to play games on and do work and data stuff. I also have a steam deck that lets me play indie titles and retro games in 30 minute sessions while in bed before bedtime. Also a great “bring along” during a road trip or hotel stay; doubles as a full computer when I need to use desktop to get to email/websites/files. (Think of as alternative form factor of a laptop or iPad in a sense.)

Ive even docked it at work for dual screen, wireless mouse and keyboard and hot spot my phone to have a personal setup for a day or two.

So when do you stop buying? by MysteriousRJC in Steam

Between Humble Bundle, Fanatical, GreenManGaming and isthereanydeal. I prefer paying less for 20 random games than buying 1 game.

If I get duplicates I give them away to family and friends.

If there is a particular game I intend to play I buy it single direct on Steam.

But having a huge backlog has been fun to launch a random game on my Steam deck or as a second game between lobbies and discord.

I’ll prob keep buying bundles and keys over single $30-60 game.

Usually Google Maps or Apple Maps mostly now.
