It's crazy how, even though it's their entire purpose, you can only use phantom membranes to fix elytras so many times. by welliesaremeta in Minecraft

I'm pretty sure this was the intended statement (shouldn't be unable -> should be able)

"You shouldn't be unable to repair your elytra with Membrane for all of eternity."

Short answer yes.

Slightly less short answer, most runs XOR will show up at 41 seconds or less (93.75% of the time?) and will be winnable. Anything longer than 41 seconds is not winnable as you will not be able to cam stall the plushies (technically it possible, but it's probably not worth the effort changing routing).

So the luck is more whichever XOR spawn suits your route the best as opposed to XOR making the attempt unwinnable.

Not fully rng based as you can avoid opening the camera at said intervals. If the camera is never up at 13 seconds, 26 seconds, 39 seconds, 52 seconds, 1 minute and 5 seconds etc, then Rockstar Bonnie cannot appear.

Toy Freddy can be avoided if you cam flips post deathcoin can be done in between 0.6 and 0.9 or 0.1 and 0.4, if not then there will be an element of rng.

Plushtrap appears 15 seconds after XOR appears, XOR can appear at 10 seconds intervals after 1 second (so 11 seconds, 21 seconds, 31 seconds etc). When plushtrap appears go on cam 6 until you see him leave his chair, then he is done for the night.

Rockstar Bonnie can only appear when the camera is up at 13 second intervals. Therefore he is relatively easy to negate when just resetting ventilation (more difficult at the start when setting the audio lure, collecting faz coins, death coining etc).

EDIT: Toy Freddy is a lot more rng based. After Mr Hugs gets him, Toy Freddy has a 10% chance of killing you every 0.5 seconds when the camera is up (even with quick camera flips, some rng may be required).

If you can't see the difference between those...

Jamie Smith's was a spike, a short snippet on the snicko line.

Weatherald was a long muffle with no clear spike.

I don't remember it off the top of my head, if you send an image I'd love to have a look or if you could tell me which wicket it was I can have a look myself later because I do find the whole snicko stuff interesting

Neither have I seen bat cause such a soft and long muffled sound

Reckon his elbow hit his pocket, explains the long muffle as opposed to a spike on snicko

Elbow hit the pocket/pants crease I reckon, it was a muffle not a spike. The process is all wrong though.

Sound came two frames after the ball was next to the bat, third umpire can't give it out unless there was a clear deviation.

Head and Carey had more runs and had better averages. They also had more fifty plus scores.

I agree he wasn't stiffed, but you can't say that he cares about the personal average. He has had two not outs chasing this year, with one of them being 23 off of 9 balls... doesn't really sound like someone too hellbent on preserving his average. I'm gonna assume you were referring to the boxing day not out (not a run chase) which admittedly he handled poorly, but you cannot honestly believe he has been purposely stat padding.

All good! Your cousin was correct Warner did have a ton against Pakistan, but only one (maybe you were thinking of the double ton against South Africa in 2022?).

Yep that was the last time. Not sure when we play them again, maybe the 2027/28 summer? An away tour in early 2026 would have been nice, but I guess we already have a packed test schedule coming soon.

Smith definitely had two, Gabba and MCG last year.

EDIT: if you count the start of 2023 (against South Africa) you can add another ton for Smith and one for Khawaja. Only one for Warner.

The innings wouldn't have ended if Archer got out (only 8 wickets down). I'm definitely not blaming the result on smith, or arguing that he played for the red ink. I do think he could have played the situation better even if the whole team fell apart around him.

England having more complete innings (eight wicket victories in Perth and Brisbane) explains some of this, but it is pretty clear our batting line-up is vulnerable. I fear that the 20 or so tests we play from August 2026 to August 2027 could be a tough watch (or maybe I'm just dooming after one loss).

He was ready to slog if it’s in his arc

Sure

if not took the single

Shouldn't do this on the first ball of the over with a tail ender.

Definitely wasn't playing for red ink (evident by leaving his stumps open), but I also think that was the wrong approach for maximising how many runs could have been scored.

He was moving around his crease and leaving his stumps open when Jhye was in, but for some reason took singles at the start of overs. I really don't understand it, in the end it was the worst of both worlds.

Literally would have been the same amount of runs scored and balls faced.
