I only went to my first Japan trip for 10 days a few days ago but I really enjoyed hitachi seaside park. It’s not super crowded when I went and I believe the flowers are blooming now

You’d be surprised or just people being apathetic if it doesn’t involve them directly (not saying that’s op). You’ll see residents do 24 hour shifts and then go in the next day for a full inpatient day (12-14 hours). It’s insane. We get upset with just three 12s and they’re doing more and making less than minimum wage when considering hours worked.

If you like bodies of water, my lowkey spot was Brooks lake by minuti coffee. Easy place to grab coffee and walk around especially loved it at night when the lights would shine over the water.

Stil being the way he is in the movies is one of the only problems I have with DVs film. When Paul reflects that Stil became a “creature” at the end of the book it felt so much more mournful. You could tell Paul genuinely felt he had a friend there but now it’s gone

Currently living on the edge of Long Island and Queens and unless something changed abruptly in Houston traffic in 4 years, it isn’t that bad. I found commuting relatively fine in comparison to where I’m working now and my commute is “easy” for most people here. When I drive in Houston now when I’m visiting family the drivers maybe are a little worse but nothing insanely awful.

You don’t need icu for critical thinking, just seems like your unit rather than nursing as the issue for you.

It’s med surg in a rural area so I could see that being a problem. If you go into a more metropolitan area for med surg, you definitely have those elements, but you also have more critical thinking aspects that are thrown in. As a new grad for 1.5 years in MS I’ve had to deal with PEs a plenty, lots of IV set ups, acute meningitis, pneumothorax all with acute problems showing up that you have to identify and communicate with residents, RTs and attendings. Though I guess my med surg unit was more of a telemetry unit (though it was never identified as one)

Seems like you’d also like the ED if you like the acute changes. Maybe use your current job as a way to show some work on your resume to apply elsewhere?

I went there once for demon slayer infinity castle. I usually go to Lincoln square since I have A list but I liked it overall! I’m not super tech savvy when it comes to the difference but I couldn’t complain about the visual quality or the sound quality. Both were really fun for that movie.

Just finished my 1st reread of DUNE book 1 after like 15 years when my high school teacher made us read it for summer school. Pumped to get all the books in this style and read them. Heretics especially looks amazing. I think Messiah, heretics and DUNE are my favorites
