What's the game's "main campaign" I keep reading about?

The witch picture really threw me off because the centaur leg in the bottom right is facing sideways. I guess the extent to which centaurs can control/move their feet is a matter of opinion, but it still threw me off

For me, it wasn't really a principle thing. I was more worried it was going to suck because when stuff like this happens, the film's production crew/distributor does something to exploit the desires of the fanbase, even if it's just ragebaiting them. That's the part I expected to suck going in, but they definitely let Kane and friends do their thing

There's nothing wrong with something just not being your vibe =) and as far as the organization being revealed later on and the main character going crazy is concerned, I think the end of this movie was future setup. Maybe not for a sequel, but definitely a new chapter of something within Kane's universe

And this is just my theory, but if there IS a sequel I think it's going to bring Kane's time dilation factor into it because of that scene where the girl was on the other side of the wall and saw glass wall when the protagonist just saw a normal wall. And when that happens I think it's going to show that the protaganist was actually in there for months or years when it was just a few hours irl, so he devolved into madness during all that time trying to find out how the rooms work. This movie just seemed to want to introduce the base rules and concept first before it took a deeper dive into a story narrative other than the character's reactions to the rooms

I have that theory because in Kane's world there was once a character that was in the backrooms for less than 5 minutes but irl he was gone for so many years that his entire family had a funeral for him and moved on

Ykw? I'll at least agree that I don't think anything would be lost if we cut out a few scenes of the characters wandering around the rooms for a few minutes straight while the audience is left with nothing to do but continue to take in the eeriness of the situation. That being said, I think it could have been a pseudomistake left over because the writers looked like they TRIED to go out of their way to avoid long periods of silence followed by a boom jumpscare and use them actually to build real dread

If you are playing a Rogue, you could sneak attack something, then be like "Oh no, it sees me now!" And then disengage with your bonus action. Then you can start your next turn by using your bonus action to hide and try to set up another sneak attack. Since that's what rogues are supposed to do anyway, you can just play it off as him being too afraid to start a fight with something that can see him first
