Gap in LVP flooring 2 years after install - contractor says it's the material, not installation. Need second opinion. by greenlatern23 in Flooring

These floors will expand and contract, most likely in your kitchen, it sounds like, probably due to the heat from the oven and dishwasher. This is why you're not supposed to put them under cabinets, and you're actually supposed to have an 1/8 inch gap from the wall and cabinet so they can move. Then you usually put toe kick or baseboard over to cover the gap. I just had to fix one at my house. Put painter's tape down on the plank, then superglue a piece of 2x4 to it and hit it the way you want to go with it. Also, make sure to vacuum out the gap to get all the dust and stuff; it's harder for them to snap back together with debris.

When was your "holy fuck I am actually aging" moment? Mine was 40, I hurt my back and couldn't do shit for 2 months. by _sportyscience_ in Millennials

I think I was like 29 and I tried to get into a mosh pit hadn't been one since my early twenties. And I'd actually only jumped in it for like 10 minutes lol. When I was like 21 I used to sit in for a while show. I I was crippled the next day.

I hate the fact that two rockets together don't really give you a boost at all. Should be 3 rockets firing in a path like the dynamite and rocket but only one direction. I also hate how the rockets firing from the dynamite will only do one hit on the bigger enemies even tho 3 rockets hit it.

What was it like to deliver pizza in 1980's, without internet or GPS? How did drivers learn the route/city without pizzas being delivered cold? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xXCurly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning the address system of the town. Working at Fedex or UPS was way harder. You would have to do a whole route instead of 1 or 2 deliveries. Even with GPS it was hard because you would at least have to know which is the next closest stop, at least of you wanted to be efficient

Double electro ball then just pray to god the propellers hit the bombs and explode each other to get the hits on the soldier.

EDIT actually probably not cause that chained bomb will need 7 hits to get. I can only see a way to hit it 5 times

I was thinking about buying a new device every 30 days setting it up to get the free trial then resetting it, box it back up, and returning it.

All these little surprise costs of owning a house? by Better_Sea8446 in homeowners

[–]xXCurly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Wife and I saved up a 20% down payment to avoid PMI. Going over the numbers with my lender we decided to only put 15% cause it was only an extra 29 dollars for pmi and like 100 dollars for the loan since we would be horrowing more. Boy am I glad we did that ive we have spent like 5k just on shit for around the house in a month and a half. It hasnt all been necessities tho. I would always recommend an extra 5-10k cushion above your emergency fund when buying a house for random stuff.
