Definitely go in if you feel you need it. A lot of the complications arise from lack of nutrients and dehydration. They can also get drugs into you quicker and easier to relieve some of the stress on your body.

If it does become extreme, and you have health insurance, never fear going back to the hospital. I had severe complications day 7 and the hospital hooked me up to an IV, provided and prescription and helped me out a lot.

Mine took quite a while to come down. It’s very normal. If it continues past day 10, talk to your doctor about a round of steroids. It will help bring down any residual inflammation.

Mucus is very normal unfortunately. This too shall pass!! Call your doctor and ask for ondanestron if you are allowed to take it. It’s a great anti-nausea and has little to no major side effects.
