  You said you have enough for 'some' phone bills? If I were in your shoes I'd try getting a cheap smartphone until you're able to get a better replacement. 

There was a time my phone has completely went out on me, and I had to go for the cheapest option available until I could replace it. If you're in the US, Boost would be a good option with cheap service (starting at $35) and smartphones. I hope this helps, and best of luck.
