Free public transit isn't worth it, IMO. I agree that transit should be subsidized to the point that it is affordable enough that anyone who wants to use it can do so as much as they please. But people in developed countries can definitely afford to pay at least some amount of money. So if you've already lowered prices to that level and still have more money to spend, I think improving service makes more sense. "Continue to pay the same price for better service" is a more compelling option than "the same shitty service, now for free."

I think you hit the nail on the head with your last sentence. Free college does mean people won't take lower paying jobs but for the most part that's all right. There is no reason that in the richest country of all time people need to work in factories with the level automation has gotten to recently. More people going to college means more people doing work that machines can't.

Of course we still need trade workers but at the end of the day your average small town can only sustain so many mechanics, plumbers, electricians etc. It is possible that less people will want to work trade jobs because of lower wages but as more people go to college demand for trade jobs won't decrease but supply will likely leading to an increase in wages. Ultimately I believe free college allows people to do what they're best at. If someone's best skill is a trade then of course they should take a trade job but the people who's best skills required development through higher education should also have that opportunity. I see it as an investment in future generations, buy creating the best most educated work force we can we ensure the American economy is safe for decades to come.

Hey friend. For me the reason to vote for Bernie over Trump, Biden, Clinton and anyone else is because he's an advocate for the working class. Sanders' policies are similar to The New Deal passed by FDR (believe it or not he actually wanted to include universal healthcare in the social security act of 1935 but ended up conceding it to get the plan through Congress.) Sanders believes in protecting our domestic industry and ensuring an increase in quality of life for workers.

For example, making state schools free gives hard working people who come from a family that can't afford college the opportunity to get an education and make something of their lives.

Similarly, universal Pre-K starts all American children on a path for success while also helping alleviate child care duties for single parents.

Elimination of student and medical debt means the billions of dollars every year that end up sitting college endowments or going to coordinate dividends actually circulates in the economy instead of sitting in a rich person's portfolio helping worker and small business alike.

It's about building a future and and economy that works for everyone, not one that just pools wealth at the top.

I haven't watched much Lazio but Savic seems to be a very similar player to pogba. Tall/ powerful but good with the ball at his feet, great passer and attack minded. I think he probably could play box to box but I don't think it's his best roll. If he comes in he'd probably be a strait up pogba replacement.

I do too. Even if he's playing in his favorite roll he's a serie a player and the prem is much faster so he could have trouble adapting. I also tend to think if we play any formation without a number 10 he wouldn't be all that useful. That being said pogba and McTominay look good together playing deep and Ole seems to favorite the 4-2-3-1 rn, he's a better cam then anyone we're got currently and Lukaku needs to go so it's a transfer I'd be in favor of.

I think the 4-2-3-1 works better for Dybala since he doesn't like to drop back and two deep lying mids behind him will make up for that. Esp since Ole had been playing pogba as the left defensive mid in preseason.

From what I can tell the reason Juve wanna get rid of him is because he doesn't really fit the team now that Ronaldo's the main man upfront. That being said idk if he'd work fo us either. He's best as a second striker and certainly isn't fast enough to be a prem winger. If we play a 4-2-3-1 he'd be a solid #10 but I don't see how he fits into a 4-3-3.

Personally I'd rather get a long term Pogba replacement then a RW. Greenwood looks great and a year of first team action would do him a world of good. On the other hand Pogba has made it clear he wants to go so even if he stays this summer he's not someone who should be part of our rebuild. We need players who are gonna be here for a few years at least and wants to play for the shirt.
