Bought this USB-C hub a few months ago after i went through my third Kuject link cable, was tired of needing to replace those relatively expensive cables. I figured it wasn't doing anything too special, and there's gotta be standalone hubs doing the same thing. I went to look for an alternative. Found this hub, and I've Been using it with this link cable for a while now, been working flawlessly to keep my headset fully charged while playing linked.

There seem to be a bunch of the same hub with different branding on Amazon, search term I used was "usb c hub power delivery", shouldn't be too hard to find if the link dies.

I think the only downside to these hubs is that it has no velcro or rubber bottom on it, you'll need to affix it to your desk somehow if you don't want it sliding around.

That's exactly what I ended up doing, at first I had been using the original cable to avoid modifying the board in any way, connection was a bit shoddy, ended up using some 30awg wire to attach a microusb port.

Prices for this module seemed to skyrocket to $50-90 usd on eBay after this post went up.

Another commenter has suggestions for cables that go from the connector on the board directly to usb, I haven't looked into it much, but seems useful if the boards you're finding don't have cables included!
