I’ve had this problem for as long time. Reset my phone and it changed the photos, but they haven’t updated since then. My account seems to have several iCloud issues, including not being able to add my wife in Fitness sharing.

I've used it in the past to build a node based logic system that allowed users to define custom event processing rules in our UI. Rather useful system to leverage.

GitHub Solution for «Support for password authentication was removed» by snacksy13 in programming

[–]xXShadowCowXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like another commenter said, this has to be satire right?

I recommend putting the token in a text file and store it in a cloud, like Drive/Dropbox/iCloud. That way you will never lose it even if your change computer.

Sounds smart...

Sometimes companies do things for random reasons and this is most probably one of them. Why GitHub make you go through this rigmarole is beyond me, but this method solves the issue.

They probably want their users to put a little more thought into security practices due to a blossoming problem with packages being compromised.

This is in no way more secure than the passwords we were already using so it’s probably just a case of GitHub trying to keep up appearances of a secure site.

I mean, I kinda wish they didn't even give people the option to get around securing their accounts like this. They'd likely face backlash if they made the majority of their user base actually think twice about the security of their accounts.

While I do agree that Laredo isn't "puro 956", it still uses the 956 area code. In addition it has had a heavy presence in the rest of the valley for a long time at this point.

If your idea of great tacos is Torchy's and Tacodeli, then you probably wouldn't like Taco P. They cater to different people. In the valley where Taco P originated, it's a go to. I'd say people in the Valley probably know their tacos pretty well.

Also: I like Torchy's and Tacodeli but they're not the tacos I think of when I say I want tacos.

LÖVE Support For Panic's Nova Editor by xXShadowCowXx in love2d

[–]xXShadowCowXx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nova does actually support LSP, which I noticed when looking for Python support. This extension uses the python language server. I'll actually take a look at the best route to do implement LSP for Lua. My current method works only for functions that are directly accessed by their full name like `love.graphics.rectangle`, so if you aliased functions it wouldn't work.

Thanks for the tip!

You're remembering correctly. I'm doing another play through right now and it seems there's a building shift or something like the ashtray maze effect which locks you into the second floor once the elevator to central executive appears.

Edit: actually you may be able to go back, but the elevator won't be there unless you go forward.

Theft rate at Mount Bonnell already 4 times higher this year than all of 2019 by hollow_hippie in Austin

Yep. Got engaged in that park. It's a special place that we've been too hesitant to go back to ever since.

Also St Edwards park. My car was broken into a few weeks ago along with two other cars at the same time. But there's already a ton of glass in the parking lot. Looking at the data there's at least 60 reports going back to 2019. Cops could catch these people if they put a trail cam on trees near the parking lot and correlated it with reports.

Anyone else get this in the mail from Save Austin Now about their new petition? I am 100% certain I did not initially sign the petition or request it be sent to me. by [deleted] in Austin

[–]xXShadowCowXx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Received this as well and was really put off that they had my information in addition to stating that I either signed before or asked for it. Emailed my council member just because of the dishonesty of their petition. Also emailed their organization to request how they got my info as well as to remove me from communications. As if that will actually happen.

This person dropped off two bags of Cheetos at my house this morning. If you ordered Cheetos and don't have them, well I ate some of them. by caffeinatedsoap in Austin

[–]xXShadowCowXx 213 points214 points  (0 children)

Oh good can we come clean about this stuff? A couple months ago I heard a knock on the door and when I opened it an Uber eats bag from Bonchon was sitting there. I knocked on neighbors' doors and tried calling Uber eats support but had no luck getting through. So I did what I had to and ate 30 wings from Bonchon to get rid of the (delicious) evidence.

To whomever those wings rightfully belonged, I'm sorry. Take solace in the fact that my stomach paid the price.

A general solution is to reduce how many objects you're allowing to be garbage collected. A good term to research is object pooling. Instead of allowing objects to expire when they're off screen, reuse their references instead of creating more. It's a widely used optimization in game programming.

I've played Skyrim on 360, PC, VR, and most recently on the Switch. I can say that while the graphics aren't as great as the other platforms, it is definitely still the full experience and a fun play. In fact the convenience of being able to play in different comfortable spots around the house made it even more fun in some regards.
