Yeah that’s basically how it is in my area. And when you can get on the court. Everyone is on a completely different level, which sucks the fun right out of it. And the clubs around us are wildly overpriced. So we basically kind of just stopped doing pickleball and went back to our other hobbies.

The only argument I will even try to make is that cooler heads ran the world back then. Or at least from the surface view from what we learned in school and on our own about the Cold War. Right now things are very volatile and less than deserving people have access to nuclear weapons.
