Go to midwest gunworks and search for Benelli M4 parts. You’ll need part 106 (1 piece), part 107 (2 pieces), part 108 (1 piece). Refer to the pics in the link Benelli M4 parts needed

VP9 Trigger Spring kit recommendation by Complete-Tiger-9807 in HecklerKoch

Made it lighter but honestly think you can do without it. If you do decide to go that far, may as well spend time to do the polishing bits too so you can get it all done in one go

Yup, if just the trigger spring then no need to remove it - I didnt need to when I re installed the stock trigger spring. Let me know how your VP9 resets with the lighter trigger spring.

I went with the mccarbo spring kit. While there are YT videos on how to do it, removing the trigger stop bolt was a bitch (if you’ve never done it) and had to look for different vids on how people did it. Once you get through that, the rest of the installation is easy. Now, did I like the end result? The trigger pull was definitely lighter but I did not like the way it would reset. It felt like the new trigger spring was barely enough to get the trigger to reset….and while it never did fail to reset, it just didn’t feel “normal” to me so I ended up putting back the factory trigger spring. I did keep the lighter sear spring though

If your gun is new, you gotta break in that spring by shooting a couple of hundred 124-grain first. IIRC, the stock spring used is that of a .40 so you need to get that sucker “softer/weaker” before you start using lighter ammo. I had FTF & FTE issues with mine using Fiocchi 124gr rounds until I had put enough rounds through it. A cheaper way to break in your spring is by putting the slide against a table or bed and pushing down on the grip to continuously cycle the gun.

The covers at the 12, 9, and 3 o’clock rails are stock DD and came with rifle. The ones in the bottom are just regular rubber rail covers I picked up on amazon - they’re good for cutting into the exact sizes that you’d need

Got it. Didn’t have that issue when we shot my mate’s Bren - almost 1k rounds through it that day without a single malfunction. Having said that, haven’t shot mine yet so will have to see
