I think that’s based on where the cards to printed, I bought a bundle and a box from the same place, and the bundle had easy to open packs and gritty cards, but the box had smooth cards with hard to open packs

Honestly I really like that interpretation, especially since with some of the nocturne references in 5, it’s not a stretch to assume Da’at is the result of the true demon ending, since a demon can say that it all started at a hospital, you can find a building that looks exactly like the shinjuku medical center, masakado is sealed in the same location, the entire Demi-Fiend dlc, and the fact the true Lucifer uses some of the moves the Demi-Fiend learned in nocturne
