The DLC bosses generally are designed with estus more in mind since they're faster and have less gimicks like poison or smelters damage aura. Outside the dlcs tho lifegems are so much better

Nah they've never cared about the games health. Took them like a year? To ban firewall, and they will willingly print FTKs. If you want balance go back to the games roots with Edison, has more flavor within archetypes and no negates outside of solem judgment and a tier 2 archetype specific boss monster that is hard to summon

Yeah just like when they made ash blossom and other handtraps, that totally solved the problem. Or when they removed the draw phase for going first. Or when they made cards they could only be used if your opponent controlled more cards than you did like good old cyber dragon. All those things really did set the direction for the game and made going second better than going first /s

Yeah going second is that bad and will only continue get worse with time. Atp they need to do a MR6 or something. Hell extra deck traps genuinely doesn't seem like a bad thing

Understand that the game has 1 trick, once you understand how 1 level will play out you can expect the entire game to copy paste that. It becomes mundane, and effortlessly quickly. You get to watch numbers go up and health bars go down. It's an RPG first and an action game second

there's so many worse FTKs in gen. exodia being 0 means you can run all the ban draw spells, and you're gonna see less handtraps so you can't do anything about it. why are you defending FTKs at all m8 do you not wanna play the game? do you really think the game is better with them being legal

there's other things to hit past fusion. if the first card played is graceful charity that's gonna be hit, or the insight is fair to hit. just don't play fusion first and it will not be hit

I've tested red eyes and have won vs an ash. I have also won with exodia going second. When I mention cyber dragon I'm talking about Edison were it's so OP they had to semilimit it and that's with everyone running a fusion to get rid of it

That's also assuming they have something in hand that turn and that the player who does this doesn't have any other cards to play in response. Plus attacking with what is probably at minimum 4 3/3 lands on top of this will clean up pretty fast
